the website says sunday the 25th at 2-4-6-8pm. as i recall thats what the webste had the last two years, but on the last day they started the shows earlier (and waited until the last minute to make the change on the website) in the day so they could have a cast party. Am i remembering this correctly. I always like the final performance. It has even more energy than the rest of the season

Is anyone aware of any pigeon mishaps? I'm curious if one has ever not flown into the cage in the back or even done its business on someone while in flight.

I assume the zoological department picks them up and keeps them after the show? Do they still practice with them in the theater in the months when the show is not playing?

I have seen on multiple occasions birds flying out into the crowd. Sometimes they find their way to cage in the back and sometimes a handler has to come out into the audience to retrieve a wayward bird.
I have received multiple airborne presents from a few of the birds. It occurred more frequently when I used to sit in back directly under the cage at the sound board.

Tomorrow is the last day of Celtic Fyre for this year. If anyone as at the park tomorrow can they confirm the show times please. They look off on the app and website and I am trying to make the last show but can't get to the park till late afternoon.

The last show of the season was my first time seeing it tonight. Not sure if it was just the crowd being so into or if it was just that much better then past years but I honestly found this year's show more enjoyable than past seasons.

I was there too. The last show of the season always has an unreal energy from both the crowd and performers. It's one of my favorite experiences every year in the park. Now I make it a point to go see the last show every season. That being said, for some reason I didn't make an effort to go see the show as often this year. I moved to Williamsburg in 2015 and have been going to the park about once a week since I moved here and used to always go see CF while I was there, so about once a week. This year; however, I went to the park with the same frequency but only saw the show maybe 5-6 times including tonight's. I'm assuming it's just my own personal burnout from seeing the show so often the past few years and not a decrease in the quality of the show itself.

This is probably one of my favorite casts ever for the entire show, especially the one playing the woman who sings "The Voice" and slaying the song like it was nothing. But honestly, I would love an Irish Thunder kind of show that gives Ireland that powerful mystical feel that Celtic Fyre sorely lacks.

I was there and if anybody was on bgwfans Twitter page, you could see the top of my hat. It’s been a tradition for me to see the final performance

I'm glad the last show of the year was good. I went to the 6 PM show on Friday and it seemed a bit off, compared to other times I saw it this year. A different dancer was playing the female American cousin, and at least one of the other female dancers was missing/replaced as well. And the choreography didn't seem as sharp, either. I wondered whether they were starting to audition/train new dancers for next year or something.

Way to early for that. The show is fairly demanding physically for the dancers and it's not uncommon for one to need a break.

On the topic of dancers:

I like it a little more when both American Cousins are female. I've seen it a few times when the one cousin is male, and it's always had a more "competitive" take one it. When both are female the dancing has a little more of a 'flirty' take to it and I like that take a little more.

The choreography was off on the tap dancers this year. They didn’t do big movements with the strong notes of the music like previous years.

The vocalist of The Voice was incredible this year. Her movements during the sing really made it special.

This show is tired though. It needs replaced with new material.

I see that the Rockin' Road to Dublin is still not performing. Any chance the show will open the weekend after the passholder only day like last year?
