If you visit Florida a lot, as we do, everyone needs the Premier/Platinum/Supercalafragalistic level. Or whatever they are calling it this year.
Because we are in Florida alot.....little did I know when I signed the contract for a year they would yank everything but Williamsburg away from us. When my year is up I will do that....if I dont just drop them all together. And for the us the basic memberships dont work because the blockout days are basically then only days we went. Why would all three people in a family need the top pass. I forget who it was (I think @PrincessArlenasDad), that they do or would get 1 main big pass, get everyone else the lower level.
So say a family of three gets 1 high level membership, 2 basic memberships; you are talking $650 (2-park) or $480.
If I pick up the phone and call BGW...which you actually talk to someone at Seaworld they tell me my "Premier Membership" does not include anything other than Virginia parks. If I explain and they put me on hold and I wait and they talk to someone who talks to someone who thinks they heard something about people who bought Premier memberships the first few months get into Seaworld. While people say they are getting in its not on paper. Im not going there with the thought "i hope my ticket gets me in".....as much as im paying I want to know what im getting. They should have either issued new passes or changed names or something to give people confidence in what they have. Why do you keep claiming that anyone lost access to parks that they were promised, when they purchased their passes? It is a demonstrably false statement.

That could be true, but I called in Sept/Oct and asked. The woman I talked to looked up my account and told me my passes were for Williamsburg. I explained and she took my bar code and still said it only shows 2 parks 1 year. This call went for like 30 minutes and eventually I was told my passes dont cover other parks but since they were old passes they might work. They acted like I was trying to get something I wasnt supose to get....like I was trying somethig sneky. I only called after reading a couple posts here about peoples accounts not showig the correct passes and I dont want to be "that guy" in line in the morning holding up the line trying to get in and my passes dont work. I guess I need to just stop in and see what happens. When they switched over top the new restrictions all new tickets were issued with a different bar code prefix that restricts usage all tickets purchased before the switch have the old bar code prefix snd should work regardless of the pass level name. If I am not mistaken others have used them with no issues.
I dont care how you calculate it to make yourself feel better about it but the cost of BGW as a regional park is expensive. Sure if I went every operating day and bought lunch and dinner and got my discount it adds up to a huge sum in a season. As far as the free tickets, I gave them away to people because I have no use for them. But for almost $800 for 3 people for two parks one being a waterpark a season is high. But thank you for all that thought and calculation.
I do feel good about the memberships. The perks and benefits are pretty damn good and I take advantage of them. The cost to value is ratio is perfectly acceptable. There is a difference between Premier and Platinum. Are you sure you have the correct membership/passes?
As far as trying to make comparisons to WDW. Their annual pass is $952.11. If you divide that up between the four theme parks and two water parks it breaks down to $158.69 per park. That's way more expensive than BG. The BG breakdown for me is $180 annually which is $90 per park (BG and Water County).
Yes, I amd sure what I have, I upgraded to the top membership last March to get access to all Seaworld chain parks and pay $20 per month untill my year is up then its $22. After that time is when the Platinum was created.
My point is I have called, more than once and been given the same info. We have nothing stating what we have. I guess enjoy it while it lasts and when it stops working we are screwed. Even the people on the old ezpay plans their accounts show what they have correctly. I do know what I paid for and what my 7 foor long contract from last March says but nothing on my account shows that. Just because its written on this forum does not mean anything. Yall keep trusting them.....eventually it will catch up.You don't seem to know what you have.
If you have a BGW Premier Membership from last March (read: before the launch of the BGW Platinum Membership) that is a Grandfathered BGW/WCUSA Premier Membership. That means you get all of the benefits that Premier got in Williamsburg when it initially launched and it is treated like a BGW/WCUSA Platinum Membership at all non-Williamsburg parks. This has been documented ad nauseum on BGWFans and by people here on ParkFans.
I'm sorry you were given bad information by the incompetent call center staff, but the point stands that anyone who is on a Grandfathered Premier is getting a really, really good deal.
I have read your posts....I just wont reply to anyone else replying to me about it.There.What on earth.
I really hope you just have not read either of my posts addressing this misconception of yours, because I have explained twice now that I used my grandfathered Premier last weekend at SWO. I received full benefits. It is a s not a case of believing anyone. Four of us were there and I have photographic evidence.
I really feel as if I have fallen down the rabbit hole. Or I am being ignored/dismissed.

July Busch Bucks = $10 (to use as I want).
I said I was done replying....why poke at me just to try and get another reoly because in your comment is something I have tried to do and the park refuses.
Just because it’s something that you’d like the park to do, doesn’t mean that you have a monopoly on the idea.I said I was done replying....why poke at me just to try and get another reoly because in your comment is something I have tried to do and the park refuses.
