How anyone can enjoy Anaconda is amazing. Props 😅 it and Hulk are at the bottom for me.
Anaconda is a ride of thirds. The first third (drop loop sidewinder) are awesome and a great start. The second third (the helix doohickey) while slow and boring wasn’t painful, just boring. And then the final third is the corkscrews over the water which are awesome. More exciting and is a better ride to me. Although just gonna say I haven’t had an issue with smoothness on either LNM or anaconda. Found both to be jerky but smooth.

I assume the effects will work for 1-2 years and then break never to be repaired. Not that I’m bitter or anything like that.

I hope the jackhammering is gone. Made me not want to ride it.
And jack hammering is still there.

Really? I had zero on my ride while in the back row

Yeah the tunnel looks garbage rn, hopefully they fix it. Even then, still my second favorite arrow looper in VA. This ride still looks to be a (albeit smoother, even if I never had an issue with that!) complete snooze fest.
Are there more than 2? I'm only aware of this and Anaconda.

Ride I had today was smooth. Screens were indeed a bit to bright in the tunnel but GoPros do blow them out of proportion. Audio was fantastic. The queue was fantastic, I thought the queue would've been a marginal improvement but its excellent in its current state. Gonna be nice to see the total finished product but right now I'm happy with what they've done!

I got two rides one front one back. Felt smooth with no jackhammering. I agree the tunnel is to bright maybe there is a way to adjust that. Audio quality seemed better then what I expected based on what people said yesterday overall I give it an 8.5 rating

31 Rides on it today (yes this is not a typo)! Wow This Loch Ness Monster renovation is Amazing! Seeing my childhood ride get a refurb like this and knowing my younger family members will still get to experience this for years to come, brings a Huge smile on my face. This might be my favorite thing BGW has done in the last decade. Awesome Job!

But SeaWorld PLEASE Release this ride’s soundtrack, it’s so good!

Remember people: Buy merch. Consider leaving a positive comment about the renovation at guest services. Post about the project on social media. Tell your friends. Make your friends ride Nessie. Boost those ridership numbers.

Every little bit helps with a project like this. We don't want this to be the last. Pantheon, Verbolten, DarKoaster, and Holzfäller need similar thematic investments ASAP. Rides like Alpie, Pompeii, and Le Scoot need their scenic and/or effects maintained and, hopefully one day, plussed. Long-term, enhancements to the likes of Griffon, Finnegan's Flyer, and everything in Festa would be nice to see as well. If the park has actual positive impacts to point to, not all of these ideas have to remain pipedreams.

Per rumors, Holzfäller is very much planned to follow in Nessie's footsteps right now, but we need the aesthetic and atmospheric aspects of the budget to remain untouched by cuts in the months ahead. Other proposals focused on thematic enhancement are sitting unfunded right now inside BGW too.

I sincerely believe we are currently at a crossroads with direction of future investment at BGW and, frankly, across the larger United Parks chain as well. Please do everything you can to encourage more of what we're seeing with Nessie.
