Is there an issue with Alpie's Cobra roll kicking crap to Nessie?

Seems like a cheaper and less distracting solution would be adding netting to Alpie's track like exists in other sections than to add a structure to Nessie.

Methinks this is more to do with covered train storage as others have suggested. I too hope they match the style and color of the station or at least make it look like a natural extension and not a cheap addition.

Yes, someone got hit with a phone from Alpengeist while sitting on the track waiting to go in the station last year. Along with the budget going into theming, it was proposed to simply build a net on the Loch Ness transfer track. It went through a lot of changes before becoming what's actually happening. It knocks out three birds with one stone actually. You've got extra theming, protection for guests from Alpengeist, and now new covering for the trains during the season. Also, new lights outside and cover for easier inspections for the mechanics every day.

I wouldn't expect anything grand for the building itself. I'd think it'd be more similar to the little buildings in the extended queue.

Yeah no pointed stone work for sure, but my assumption is continuing the metalwork that is the station break run and hopefully green metal roofing to provide the most protection and theme. Would kind of give a tree canopy feel with the most blend in for the money. A more appropriate place for a lean to then the poor Pantheon crew got.

implied theming
Be as doleful as a funeral and you’ll be perfectly happy with whatever they do. LOL

Queue:
To me, I expect a collection of props from the original queue, similar to DarKoaster. Perhaps a digital screen added like Verbolten and DarKoaster with story elements. Perhaps an explorer theme. They didn’t ruin the DarK story (opinions differ). I expect they’ll do well with the queue portion.

Lift Hill:
The audio within DarKoaster is quite good. I expect to like the lift hill soundtrack. This is basically implied theming, but I expect to like it.

Glimpse:
The “glimpse” could be a decent theme addition, in a perfect world, and go beyond implied. They’re promising something here, and I find that interesting. This could go beyond implied.

My guess — an underwater sign with the face of Nessie. Perhaps some underwater lighting for night time.

Tunnel
In an ideal world…I think you have a very positive soundtrack on the lift hill, and then an intense version playing through audio in the tunnel with Nessie‘s growls and roars.

The face to face encounter in the lair is interesting phrasing to me. This limits what they can do. If you look at the photo, there’s a tight amount of space in there. So I expect some strobe lighting and a sign with Nessie’s face on it again.

I guess all 2024 visits will have to include rides as close to LNM as possible to try and get a peek.

as far as the glimpse goes, I want to believe we will get some kind of Nessie animatronic, but I’m convinced it’s going to be nothing more then an air line that causes a trail of bubbles and a splash of water.

I don’t know why but I’m convinced we’re are getting an lcd in the tunnel I think it would be cheaper and easier long term while giving a “big reaction” from park goers

Question - I'll be there for the 5th last day. Do you think the "closes one hour before park close" still applies for member weekend? Also, do you think I'd be allowed to stand to the side for a few minutes in the queue and walk to the load station within the last five or so minutes to attempt to get on the last train?

I intend to try unless someone says something.

We don't really know on that, Pantheon would offer one ride then eventually it would be slow so they just opened it up for re-rides. DarKoaster drew a massive slow horrible line right away so no way in hell they could consider doing re-rides. This ride is better at capacity than DarKoaster, which me driving my Corolla to Walmart from my apartment has better capacity than DarKoaster to further sh*t on DarKoasters capacity because it's fun, but I could see this one ending up like Pantheon.

I accidentally put this in the CT thread instead of this one lol
Anyways does anyone know if it's a scenario similar to DarKoaster previews where you get one ride, or do you get multiple?
My guess is that it will be open all day and you just show your pass as you enter but thatbis just a guess

question why is Griffon and the loops behind the cave in this image because you know they are in front of you as you exit.
