Why? Are your feeling hurt that I called you a dick??

Say whatever about premier.. I don't credit any of you as legitimate sources for opinions because frankly you all seem like dicks.. their coasters absolutely do not age well.... this is going to a disaster.

Choosing to ignore your random, uncalled for, and unproductive aggression and instead highlight to everyone else that you're way out of your depth here.

their coasters absolutely do not age well

Substantiate this claim. You assert it as fact. What metrics are you using to come to this conclusion? What determines whether or not a coaster has, objectively, aged well or poorly? Do you have access to the data required to quantify the metrics you're considering?

If you, like me, lack the information required to objectively judge how Premier's entire back catalog of attractions have aged and, instead, mean that Premier's coasters "absolutely do not age well in my opinion," elaborate on that. What Premier coasters have you personally experienced first hand that you believe have not aged well and, what about said coasters makes you feel that they have not aged well? Are those attractions notably worse than their contemporaries? Are those attractions notably less reliable than their contemporaries? Are those attractions less popular than their contemporaries?

I look forward to your thoughts.

Bitch I'm not here for your moral lesson. This is a fucking roller coaster forum and you people think I'm gonna speak faux legalise with you? Grow up. Go ride ANY sky rocket. Go ride the mummy. Go ride still new icebreaker that can't stay open all day for some reason. Go ride flight of fear..... They're all bad. This forum is a fucking joke. Not coming back. Only 3 people on here have a clue about the actual industry and you're not one of them so fuck you. I don't give a shit how highly you all think of yourselves, you're just a bunch of dumb sheep that like theme parks.... no better or worse than anyone else.

Not coming back.

I beg you, don't threaten us with a good time @homeboyroy! Though, honestly, I'm enjoying getting to use our formal warning system for a change. 60% 80% is the highest warning anyone has had in absolute ages!

For anyone following along at home, the other 40% came from a pair of posts using homophobic slurs within the last few minutes. Had to delete those outright vs slapping a public note on them.

Flight of Fear is far more comfortable today than the day it opened with OTSRs. So maybe they weren't as good 27 YEARS ago but they made it better and while it throws you around too much for OTSRs it still has a surface smoothness. The very first mag launch coaster and still running.

While the new Nessie may be supposed to be the same, remember "on-site profiling" and also it had a lot of onsite welding.

Having ridden it yesterday, the largest bits don't need anything. But any curve, plus the exits of the loops are janky. So mostly the entire first turnaround, and from the end of the first loop until the second lift.

Well…. Alright then…. To get back on track, Does anyone think there’s a chance they could add a launch aspect to Nessie ? I think that’s what this park needs a launch coaster, ya know to get this place on the map.
Oh. You haven't heard? The major part of the re-profiling is to now enter the cave at the bottom of the helix and are launched up the helix heading out towards the second vertical loop.

IDK about a true "launch" but if they could convert the 2nd lift hill to a smooth tire drive launch section I'd be pleased

Highly doubt they will, but if they did the timing needed for both trains through the loops at the same time would be far easier to achieve assuming dispatch intervals with two trains isn't slowed down and/or the main lift speed isn't slowed any further.

I hope they keep the block section before the cave so that having both trains in the loop at the same time is still possible afterwards. I remember watching ElToroRyan’s video on Lochness and about why that block is so problematic for it. I could see them using this time to come up with a good solution for it(or also just take the time to take out the brakes entirely, which would be worst case scenario)

My understanding is that what El Toro Ryan said re: the likelihood of Loch Ness Monster's pre-tunnel MCBR being disabled at some point in the future, is correct.

Personally, I'd be very surprised to see the MCBR make it through this renovation still operating as anything more than a trim. I don't want to say that it's impossible because on a project like this, things could change for some reason still, but right now, I'd be very surprised to see it survive as a MCBR.

Additionally, as El Toro Ryan described in his video, yes, if this change is made as I expect it to be, Loch Ness Monster will be unlikely to ever be able to double loop again. I hope BGW has some plans to capture high-quality, official, multi-angle, archival footage of it double looping before that change occurs. I understand why double looping doesn't happen during normal operations now, I understand the massive operational benefits of disabling the MCBR, and I would likely make the same decision in BGW's shoes. I just hope they obtain some nice, super high quality, professionally shot footage of the iconic effect before it can never happen again.
