No one knows they just finished this rebuild the testing video looks buttery smooth but no one what’s got to ride yet.I haven't been to BGW since I was a young adult (don't ask - it was a long time ago). I remember liking Lochness Monster, but in recent years I can't say I'm a fan of most Arrow OTSR coasters. The one exception is Tennessee Tornado at Dollywood. But otherwise they tend to have janky transitions, slamming my neck into the restraint. Is LNM more like Tennessee Tornado or more like Anaconda? I want to keep my expectations in check if needed, when I ride it this year. Planning a long overdue trip.
Idk if we're counting non-coasters but doesn't Pompeii have that famous disaster song playing?Only ones I can think of that a custom one are DarKoaster & Apollo. I know Griffon has music playing on the lift hill but not so sure if it’s a custom one

Almost more like a Schwarzkopf, since it has loops but no corkscrews, and is considerably older than Anaconda. Has airtime and is longer but slower. Bangs head more often, less hard. Hopefully the cave/helix won't feel like something is missing anymore.I haven't been to BGW since I was a young adult (don't ask - it was a long time ago). Anaconda has imo always been rougher on the head than Loch Ness. Anaconda is also my second least favorite coaster I've ever ridden, right in front of Hulk at IOA.I haven't been to BGW since I was a young adult (don't ask - it was a long time ago). It is not trimmed.Loch Ness Monster does not reach 60 mph, regardless of what the marketing copy claims.
It has been a while since I looked at Anaconda. Is the first drop trimmed? I ask because 50 mph is quite slow for a 144' drop.
It's not marketing copy it's what the manufacturer put out for both.Loch Ness Monster does not reach 60 mph, regardless of what the marketing copy claims.

Don't know what to sayManufacturers engage in marketing activities.
It's a physical impossibility in once case and an unexplained disappearance of quite a lot of kinetic energy in the other (even after roughly accounting for losses), so it's quite reasonable to question in both cases.
This is easy to measure with screen recording and speedometer apps. Will measure when she reopens and see what her GPS speed rating is.It's not marketing copy it's what the manufacturer put out for both.
Got to give her benefit of the doubt here, speeds in the spring isn’t the max she can hit in the summer. This is easy to measure with screen recording and speedometer apps. Will measure when she reopens and see what her GPS speed rating is.
Anacondas drop is also slow and curved.Manufacturers engage in marketing activities.

Anaconda feels faster top speed but even if I might say I'm wrong and they're even, a 10 MPH advantage to Ness doesn't pass a sanity test; the snake's drop is almost 30 feet taller. However I was mostly talking about on average, even with Anaconda's slow second half, Loch Ness has more slower sections -- although Wikipedia doesn't back me up on that either. It also claims Ana hits 5.1 G's, which I presume is lateral at that one spotLoch Ness is faster than Anaconda.

Loch Ness is faster (60mph) than Anaconda (50mph). Plus with this refurb, I'm thinking it(LNM) may be in my top 20.
