Big roll up door is open again today several tucks can be seen close by the building and a forklift is in operation outside the building. No idea that significant or not.

Is that pieces of the big tree outside the festhaus? Hopefully they are throwing those away and getting a replace as it has looked rough the last few seasons.

We've never been able to obtain plans referenced in a building permit like this before.

Lots of work trucks on site today also of note Porta paddies have been placed near the building. No that is not a joke it's actually park of the permitting process for construction projects.

Some other interesting things. Security is camping out in front of DK today.

Oh and if you look carefully at that Crack in the fence there are what look suspiciously like steel pipes for coaster support footers stacked up by DK.

Could be either. LSM's are a lot quiteter now than their LIM predecessors, so either are fair game noise wise. I would probably lean more tire though, since Wave runner or whatever at SWSD has tires

id guess it will be drive tires because of wave breaker and because its indoors and there may not be enough space for LSM's

Horsesboy posting live from Octoberfest with your weekly DarKoaster update. If you listed carefully you could hear audible heavy equipment in use in the Darkastle build over the music in the area. Onto of that a green stockade fence now surrounds the back if the building limiting views from the train. The pipe pile appears to have shrunk in size leading me to believe thar construction is indeed underway at the site.

It’s worth noting that that green fence has always been there. Remember Cornered and Demented Dimensions? Both went back there and that fence was there. Just couldn’t see the color because it was dark.

That fence has not always been there. Often is taken down and put back up as needed.

Any guesses which month this opens? I'm hoping it's available for Winter Weekends because I'm planning my first ever trip to BGW around that time and DarKoaster is currently the ride I'm looking forward to the most.
