No by the employee exit from Pantheon's area, he had just gotten off of his 25th ride
Never trust an employee that will actually tell a guest something. They don't know what they are talking about. Anyone that actually knows what they are talking about knows better than to just mention it to random people in the park. Best you get out of employees in the park is rumors that they have heard.

On a more realistic note, if the park already has actual construction plans then Intamin has been at the park many times before now to look at the DarKastle site. Honestly, enough times that I wouldn't consider it news.

Intamin might as well be renting space from BGW at this point and just have a semi permanent office.

Really sucks that the only new attraction I have been remotely excited about in recent times is entirely concealed behind walls so there is no reasonable way for me to get my update fix.

I'm jonesin' man.

Where there's a will, there's a way?

Except that it might result in a lifetime park ban... So there's that.

Just invest in some Infrared goggles to see what is going on inside the building. Might get lucky and catch some welding action.

Coasterhub on Instagram has been posting animations of future intamin coaster concepts they've announced. There's a few other videos on the account with other elements. Really crazy stuff. Maybe a possibility for these with darkoaster?

Given the size required, probably not. That would be a VERY jarring effect if in complete darkness

I don't want to dash anyone's hopes, but given that site prep has already begun on DarKoaster, the layout, as leaked right before New Years, is almost certainly the final product. Those new Intamin track elements are super cool, but they may have to wait until BGW inevitably buys a fourth Intamin multi-launch coaster. At the rate things have been going, that means 2025. 😋

As far as I know, there aren't a whole lot of places with at least 3 Intamin and 3 B&M in their major coasters portfolio (once DS and DK are built/announced/operational). Cedar Point off the top of my head is all I can think of.

All I got for their Intamin coasters are MF and TTD - WT was one but now that's gone what is the other?

Totally understandable, friend. SteVe dominates that area now. I still love me some Maverick.

At Pantheon the last two days, I've heard a lot of people call DarKoaster a "small family/kiddie coaster." If you look at the renderings though, some of those bends look pretty snappy and tight. I think this ride might surprise people next year (hopefully) if they keep underselling this thing. As has been said ad nauseam though, it all comes down to theme, but I think the ride itself will deliver more than expected.

People also underestimate the effect of darkness on felt forces. In darkness the sense of speed is dulled. With no frame of reference you don't know if you're going 10mph or 100. The snappy turn's forces are what give the feeling of speed.
