I’m VERY okay with BGWs new cozy relationship with Intamin after we didn’t see new intamins come to the US for years! I really enjoyed Wave Breaker too when I went. Honestly the people that rode and called it “boring” like wtf were you expecting? Did you expect ejector airtime on a ride that obviously doesn’t have it? It’s perfectly satisfying for what it is attempting to be and I feel confident DarKoaster will be similar.

What do you think is the likelihood of DarKoaster having on-ride theming? Considering the direction SeaWorld has been going, I don't see it happening. But there still is the fact that they have theming on-hand and they might have a change of heart and try to live up to the legacy of DarKastle. I just don't want a coaster in a box.

I honestly don't know what to think.... I really hope that they realize this type of coaster needs theming but this is SEAS. I think the ride could be a flop if they don't have something cool besides just the ride.

One of the things they do have to worry(?) about is the fact that the outside and queue are all very well themed. People are going to notice if the ride outdoor and queue is better themed than the indoor part, and that indoor part has theming all the way up to boarding.

who says the gravity area would be in pitch blackness... they would install props that could illuminate differently depending if it's lap one or lap 2. much like how Rock n roller coaster and revenge of the mummy have lit props that are dark till cued.

Oh for sure... My comment was more in sarcasm as to how the park has been trending cheap... So pitch blackness would fit that trend.

You get that I was joking? It was just a snarky reference to the park’s recent preference for cost savings over theming.
