@Zachary and I compiled the attached spreadsheet, based on the information that everyone provided. Thank you all so much!

Please let me know, if you see any discrepancies.

I would highlight that it appears that no one is being upgraded to "Platinum;" instead several tiers appear to be getting what we have dubbed "COVID Platinum" (the extra benefits for Platinum Members). This includes legacy Platinum Annual Pass Holders.

We are still looking for information from people with Legacy One and Two Park Passes!

We put our ezpay on hold a couple weeks ago and did not receive an email explaining any of information. Have you heard anything about passes that are on hold?

Dang that's rough. I called a few times and the first call let me do a "hold your place in line and we will call you" option.

Did we know about this...?

If anyone has an Unlimited Splash Pass or knows someone who does, can you please PM me? We are trying to figure out if they are getting upgrades, as well. If so, to which tier. Additionally, we don't know how long that membership would be extended, since WCUSA has a much shorter operating calendar.

As promised, here is our article on the COVID upgrades:

Good article, brought up some good points about preferred parking, which is the main reason I pay for the level I do. Also brought up some other very good points as well, food and wine and issues that I would probably not use like rerides.

That was a really well thought-out article, and addressed a lot of my same concerns (e.g., I literally only upgraded for employee entrance/England parking). Sadly, I think I’m going to have to quit my membership for now. Like many others, I can’t afford a monthly payment for something I’m not using, and I personally don’t think I’d feel comfortable visiting again until there’s a vaccine or major breakthrough/risk decline. I know the grandfathered Premier members are getting a great deal, but a lot of the upgrades wouldn’t be of much value to me—assuming I’d even visit before the end of the year, which I highly doubt. (That $50 is nice, though.) If I had any confidence in customer service that I’d be able to successfully put my membership on hold, I’d try that, but my past experiences make me doubt it. And I don’t even know if you can continue the hold once the park opens back up, which I would almost certainly want to do. Anyway, all this to say... I’m bummed. I discovered BG 5 years ago and it’s been a major part of my life since then. I hope everyone here who goes back when it opens up will stay safe and healthy. I’ll still be checking up here, so I’ll live vicariously through you guys. Hopefully I’ll be back someday soon(ish) with a brand new whatever-level-membership they are selling at that point. ? ?

I just thought about the $50 and that it will probably be like the $10 they have given out in member rewards before where you have to use it all in one transaction and no change. I sure wish they still sold the coo coo clocks, now would be the time to put all my $50 vouchers together with that 30% discount and get one of the small ones like I always wanted!

The preferred parking is going to run out. I'd gladly trade away my new preferred parking access for discounted drinks or something. It would have been interesting had they let us pick what perk(s) we wanted, albeit complicated.

Also my girlfriend now has preferred parking too, which obviously we aren't both going to use.

I pay for Premier mainly to get preferred parking and now it’s going to be a crap shoot if it’s available. I don’t think it will be an issue early on when capacity is limited, but if things open up more later in the season it could be a real issue.
