I was up early thinking about this, and I think I came up with something that would make me happy as a Platinum member:

What if they reduced your ez-pass payment were reduced to premier rates for the duration of the payments? And if you paid in full or for payments already made they should offer a reduction of future passes.

I had truly considered upgrading from the Unlimited to the Premier last year. The 15% discount would have easily made up the price difference. Parking was not much of a consideration, especially now that they have added all that VIP parking in England. It really ruins the access for me. I didn't upgrade because they offered the all season dining plan. That took care of food and would really limit my purchases, making it harder to utilize the 15% to make up the price difference. Now I get the Premier for free till the end of the year. I'm just hoping I'll be able to take advantage of it.

We did a snarky thing.

It is about the Splash Pass.

Oh, by the way, by the time @Gavin went looking yesterday, Busch Gardens had already fixed the issues outlined in the article. The rewards link is changed, a newly modified membership benefits chart is live, and a bunch of fine print has been updated and added.

Mission accomplished I guess? Props to whoever read the article and fasttracked the solutions.

This is probably my favorite part of the entire Splash Pass write-up:

This article does not constitute a recommendation to buy any other product or service sold by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment, especially their dubiously-marketed Unlimited Splash Pass. Also, snarky BGWFans articles are probably the best BGWFans articles.

Mine was just billed on July 6th, I didnt check June.

Edited, I just looked and June was charged as well.

Mine skipped April and wouldn’t let me pay for it and caused my pass to lapse and say it was expired, but in May it started back up normally. I don’t know if it is some kind of glitch they are having in their system?

I got everything straight. I called customer service and it was a glitch on their end. Even though they have been billing me fine since March 2018 when me and the husband switched to the new passes, something in their system needed reset. They charged me for my June payment and my July payment that was supposed to process on 7/13. The operator said when the shutdown is over with, BGW plans on not billing pass members for the length of time they billed them and the park was shut down.

We'll see how that one goes. I'll look on the bright side for now. It only took 10 minutes to get through to customer service at 9am this morning and they were actually very helpful...
