Correct, Polar pathways will premier at 6:15 PM.
I feel like I need to point out that park's pay employees before opening and after close so they are actually paying for more then the 4 hours that they were open so that theory is gone.
...why do the parks always stay open for three hours before closing?
That is why they close after three hours. QED

I still have some concerns about there being to much undecorated areas but what is up looks great and it is still a preview week so time will tell.

Definitely the new Polar Pathway show needs work - the transitions were awful and the show itself was only meh. Disappointing that the drop, lift, and pool weren't a part of the show. Also, the new version of O' Tannenbaum wasn't great. The music was great but the show was consistently at least a quarter second behind and the updated lights just seemed cheap. Other than that, I had a great night. Did Pantheon 8 times, InvadR once, Finnegan's 3 times, and Verbolten once.
Edit: I forgot- I also did Alpengiest once

Now how about that hot chocolate… it is delicious! (And pepperminty!)

I prefer the wassail (and the discontinued cranberry hot toddies), myself. Despite loving chocolate and peppermint, I find the park's peppermint hot chocolate far to sweet and the sludge at the bottom is kinda gross.

You have yet, despite repeated requests, provided a shred of evidence for your claims about the motivations behind KD's decisions to close early for weather. Without knowing why they choose to change their hours, it is impossible to judge the ethics of their decisions.

Perhaps more importantly, the characterization of people who disagree with you as probable "yokel locals" is bordering on a personal attack. I can say with confidence that I am neither local nor a yokel. I merely disagree with your assumptions about both what is driving their decision making and the legitimacy of businesses acting like businesses.

Perhaps you should consider adjusting your approach to planning. I travel regularly and rarely encounter unexpected weather or closures.

The cranberry hot toddies were really good.
