So what is the operating threshold in terms of weather for the roller coasters? 40 degrees? It seems as though a majority of days this coming week are going to be below that, mostly for the night session

Went to part of both sessions Sunday. Got there around 1:30 and supposedly rides had just started up due to temps, and it was raining lightly the whole time. Seemed like 50 people in the park and most I saw seemed to be leaving. Would have ridden more with a few more people because they were running 2 trains around for just me sometimes. Alp was running great.

Second session was completely different. Big crowd going in. Still would have been OK but Alpengiest immediately went down and still was when I left at 7, and the InvadR line quickly backed up. Lot of congestion radiating out from Caribou train station. Front was empty when I walked out though.

No it doesn’t. There is culture in religious practices, right? There are 12 days of Christmas (until Jan 5th). Jan 6th is Epiphany (Celebration of the Wise men presenting gifts to Jesus. Sometimes culturally called Little Christmas, it’s celebrated throughout Christian Europe. Technically in the Catholic Church the observation of the Christmas season (because Christmas is not just one day) ends at the Baptism of Our Lord on Sunday, Jan. 10th.

Jan 6 was typically the date for ending Christmas decorations and lights when I lived in a heavily catholic part of Europe.

My personal view is after New Years the lights need to come down.

They used the Italy parking lot to shoot of the fireworks this evening. Maybe on less busy nights they can force everyone over to the overflow lots and use the same location so that everything can keep operating.
