Jan 6 was typically the date for ending Christmas decorations and lights when I lived in a heavily catholic part of Europe.No it doesn’t. There is culture in religious practices, right? There are 12 days of Christmas (until Jan 5th). Jan 6th is Epiphany (Celebration of the Wise men presenting gifts to Jesus. Sometimes culturally called Little Christmas, it’s celebrated throughout Christian Europe. Technically in the Catholic Church the observation of the Christmas season (because Christmas is not just one day) ends at the Baptism of Our Lord on Sunday, Jan. 10th.
