Does it really matter if I use the word decided? Really of all the things to point out? Honestly, I was making it known that myself and others had decided and made the ultimate decision between us that the park was misusing the word. If you have an issue with it than ignore it.

Question PR. Were there 4 of these signs(2 on the opposite ends of the bridge) or were there just 2(1 on each end of the bridge)?

There were two signs. One sign was place on the side by Loch Ness Monster and one sign by the Rhine River Docks. Because there is a sign on each side, it is clear the bridge itself is considered part of Rhinefeld and it's official name is Grimm's Landung irregardless of the actual meaning of the German word landung.

PR,

I think the problem is word choice. The way both of your posts come across, you seem to be implying that some authority has made some kind of ruling. It sounds very high handed.

I think he was making an assumption based on the information given to him. I don't think he was saying "It says this, so this is how it must be." He just said that he thinks it was decided that Grimm's Landung was its name, because based on the signs on both sides of the bridge, it seems to imply that. Do we really have to make that much of a deal out of this?

This conversation is ridiculous.

I don't automatically connect decision to authority.  I said your word choice implied it.

Dayum. Are we really going through this again? I don't think there's any need to make such a big deal over a single word, much less so call the discussion "ridiculous" and continue to feed the flame.

I really love how they repainted and freshened up the signs. They look brand new. I really can't wait to see what the bridge looks like if and/or when they decide to stain/paint it.

The park did redo some of the concrete work around the edge of the docks you can see the stark contrast from the San Marco Bridge. I suppose they are continuing to refurbish the docks. It would make sense. The area is very old and could use some work done.
