I think the main difference is the actual descriptions not necessarily the pictures. You have to have stock photos from somewhere; how are you supposed to have stock photo of something that didn't exist? So I forgive them in that aspect.

With that said, BB's description specifically says Count Vlad and everything. FF is misleading in how it is worded.

Maybe. But these can be & should be corrected by now. We saw Vlad almost two weeks ago. I will gladly donate some of my pictures to BGW if they will take a second and fix this.

BloodBanquet.ashx

"Visit Count Vlad’s hotel..."

FrightFeast.ashx

"Dine with the surgeon, his assistant and their kooky monster..."

Yeah they probably could, but they probably won't until next year.

If i'm able to keep my app (2 different versions at that) updated in my free time, along with working a 50hr week full time job, and doing school.... there's really no excuse for whoever is managing the park's sites to be able to swap out a few images.

Extra note, as i'm sure someone at the park will see this... You guys clearly need help, I have a number in mind. Email me :p

I agree. The park's web-site has failed in many ways.

Why wasn't the Food and Wine Fest better promoted on their own site? You had to click, click, click to get to any information whatsoever promoting this event.

Why, until very recently, when you went to the 'updated' Howl-O-Scream web-page on tickets did it give a screen that said 'tickets not yet available' while they clearly were on the regular Busch site?

I went on the Illuminights Fireworks Cruise and they provided someone from Tours to answer any questions you might have about the park that they could answer. And they gave snacks...(ok...they were just your choice of salty comestibles), but still that was something you could mention in the touting.

And I know this is a little thing but when you look at the dining experience information you have to click on a rather small link that says 'see details' to find out what the menu entails. I went to a couple of dining events before I realized you could click on that and get the menu. Okay, I know I'm not the most computer savvy person out there but why not put this information in the body of the information about the event?

They have neglected to properly promote revenue producing events/experiences when an increase to their bottom line is sorely needed. Even now when you look at their Howl-o-Scream homepage and click on "frightening features' or 'dining experiences' it mentions the dining experiences but doesn't link to them in the main text but only via a sidebar on the right. The 'terror-tories', 'rides' and 'shows' page link directly to information for the attraction on the highlighted items. The dichotomy between the extra-income producing events and those that are included in admission is indicative of a place whose public has already over-committed to those events, which BGW's have not.

We are thinking about doing this tomorrow night. Does anybody have any pictures of the food? Or can you tell me what you ate? Was the quality of the food worth it? I am also bringing a picky (adult) eater, so just wondering about this pasta station stuff. I would love to see if they would let me look at the food offerings before buying it, but I just watched on YouTube and the food looks tucked away.

I had both types of pasta and the Alfredo was good, they have pork skewers which were great, and have a catching table with turkey and beef. I only had the beef and that was good. The desserts I had were red velvet cake and a chocolate tort which were good.

Fixed it. This is all that matters. Done. The boys can suck it up. I will have my red velvet cake and eat $20 worth if anything.

Thank you! All I have to do is show my husband that picture of a chuck of random meat and he'll be all for it.

I thought it was a red velvet cupcake. They had a cake there, that tasted kind of lemon-y with red stuff on it as well.

The lamb stew was awesome, the meat carving station was good. A lot of rolls. The baked potatoes. So much stuff to choose from.
