i just sat away from the fence and faced the hotel.

This. Luke, Nora, Pretzel, and I sat right near the fountain in the front row of tables. The key is to just let the actors mess with you a bit- if you can do that, you'll have fun. They'll stay in character no matter what, but if you play off their character yourself, they're talented enough to make some very entertaining conversation.

I just booked a party of 3 for my trip on the 27th on your recommendation! The menu looks great. Any tips on what time to go? We were thinking right around opening so we have plenty of time to go do the houses after.

If you go at 430-445, you'll have gotten your food before the show starts, I think. Get some seconds during the show and sometimes they go inside and they'll interact with you there too.

I prefer to go a little later since it's outside and the atmosphere/lighting is better when it get's dark.

I realize that not everything will appeal to everybody, but this, for me, is the epitome of Scott Gasparich cheese that turns me right off.

:dodgy:

I can see that, some aspects of the act did fall fall on it's face. Scott does have a certain style and while a majority of the time it's pretty bad, when he hits something, it can be fantastic.

OK. These statements are seriously making me question everything I believe in life. :p If SG has it in him to be truly fabulous and his work loved by many here on the forums, shouldn't we be cheering him and showing him encouragement where he falls short instead of the constant barrage of "F SG!" & "SG must go!"? Or has a line been crossed where it is too late for that? Tell me Internets!! I am so confused!!

BTW, Vlad, I think you are awesome!

Haberdasher, I see what you did with your avatar and love it!! :D

I think their approach is simple, constantly trash whatever Scott puts together in hopes that he will quite, be fired, or do good. When in fact if they gave the appropriate constructive criticism, things may improve quicker.

I did word that poorly. Scott has a certain style, it works great for CT and fine for HoS at times as long as he doesn't do something dumb like add sequins to bras. However, in the normal season, Scott's style results dumb crap like KK because his style isn't subtle enough for the main season in the park.

It is also unfair for me to actually enjoy something and lie about it on here.

Which brings us back to Scott in charge of special events only.

... Yes, because everyone in this thread is openly ridiculing Scott and his team for the horrendous atrocity that is Blood Banquet. My bad.

What you see in this thread should be a perfect indicator that very, very few of us have some sort of blind hatred for Scott.

One thing of praise, which you all trashed before the event started anyways. You guys totally don't hate the guy or what he does; however, this is a start.

Well, I was just saying that I recognize that this may appeal to others but, from what I'm hearing, it's not my taste.

And thank you ;)

...and I think you need to watch your generalizations. I may vent on here when I dislike something, but I've sent snail-mail letters of praise to the park (and cc'd corporate) when I like what I see.

Yes. And what makes it interesting to me is the differing views of two highly-regarded forums members like yourself and PK. In any event, I look forward to it cause Fright Feast truly is not worth it. I have a big review to post soon.

I seriously don't see myself as highly regarded, but thank you, CK. I look forward to your review!

Meant to say earlier - the costumer in me loves the early 1930's look of the two platinum blondes in red velvet...

Not really, I had to make sure I was extra careful walking around him. I could easily see somebody with food tripping or stepping in it, it's made a bit worse by the fact that he does walk around the buffet areas at times.

Yes- because one person at the banquet dropped a cupcake on the ground and just leave them there without telling anyone. Yay for considerate poeple! I wish I saw who it was. Grr.
