Huh, didn't know that tour existed, but that's neat! I wouldn't have guessed they use DarKastle's Hygiene system.
Yep. The Killarney sim has never had on-site cleaning facilities as far as I know. Back when Corkscrew was around, glasses were carted over to The Globe to use theirs. When The Globe was renovated for London Rocks, Entertainment ripped out the glasses cleaning area from that theater so now there's only one—the one that remains at DarKastle.
The park widely posted about it when the ride opened and people were talking about not riding because they didnt want to share "dirty headgear".
I think @belsaas (and my surprise) is that it was pulled from DarKastle, not that they had a system.
It looks like this season, they have multiple head mask sizes. In addition to the green and gold ones, there are purple ones that they are giving to guests with glasses and another set with red pans that I am unsure of who they are for.
Yes, there are new sizes this year. As I recall there is one for adults with glasses and one for children with glasses.
Good. I was hoping they would do those additions considering last year and all that. So yay for me who doesn't have to take my glasses off anymore. ?
Yes. There are 4 different sizes now and the glasses versions work very well. All 5 of us had glasses (my kids have my bad eyes) and only the 4 year old had trouble with them, and I think it was more due to the weight of the headset than the mask not fitting.
Nobody in our group was not wearing glasses so I didn't compare the size of the head straps. It did seem theat the head areas were the same size just with an expanded area for glasses.
One option might be to get ya a roll of duct tape. Then before you go to the park, wrap enough of it around your head to increase your cranial circumference such that the adult size will fit properly...
Obviously a joke. I’m sorry that you have an outside of ‘normal parameter’ cranial size.
Or more accurately; I’m sorry they don’t make an intermediate size that would fit you.

I never actually had issues wearing my glasses with the old strap, but I am interested in how this changes comfort levels.
This is why I won’t ride it. I guess I will continue to walk past it, without entering.
