Yes, I know how they are treating it. In fact, I said earlier on the park classified it as an attraction that would stand up along with all the other attractions being added to the other parks like Colossal Curl, Breakaway Falls, etc. Shows are not typically that major in drawing in people. I seriously feel that this show might actually bring in more people, or possibly a different demographic that could help increase the park's attendance. Maybe not to the extent that a new roller coaster would, but even just a nudge.

I don't think Entertainment has too much money, I just think they choose the wrong things to purchase based on personal opinion rather than actually using a sense of what the intended audience really wants. However, I do agree some of the money could have been used outside of the park.

It will be interesting to see what the "permanent" Globe Facade will look like once they get it installed and the temporary (foam) materials come down.

Are they planning on a new facade for the Globe? Last I'd heard it was just a sign. They're supposed to just re-paint the front and take down the stuff.

Oh, by the way, I saw The Globe's defacement yesterday. The new cut outs that weren't on the old construction fence are basically card-board cut outs. Also whoever painted it did a horrible job, the paint is all over the sides of the Brown boards, and there's some on the ground too. Either way it still looks terrible.

Just so everyone is on the same page, a facade refers to what they had for Ripper Row. No buildings will actually be altered, just covered up sorta. That said, I don't think the Globe is getting a facade per say. Just a very large London Rocks sign.

So, why did they put up the decorations?  It seems odd to cover the front of the a globe, and then replace it a week later.  Am I misunderstanding?  I'm confused.

Grab people's attention right off the bat! ENT spent a lot of money on this show, and you don't want guests thinking that it's still Pirates 4D in there. It does seem like a short run, but they're probably aware that it doesn't match the rest of the hamlet and isn't a good long-term signage solution.

Plenty of new things to see and hear today in Banbury. Stay tuned to social media this morning and have your "Uh, wut?", "Why would they...?", and "No, just no." reactions ready to paste into the comment sections! :p
