I have to be in Charlottesville tomorrow at 10a for an appointment for my wife. Im super tempted to drive the extra 2 hrs after her appt and see what the area looks like and get a short visit in. But if we don't make it thanks in advance for any photos and updates.

This is certainly even more temptation for me to get up early tomorrow for a trip to the park. :)

So the Globe has taken the brunt of this, assuming from b.mac's comment? Are they planning to ruin the other side too? Or are they both equally ruined?

I think it would be a terrible decision to deface the Globe Theatre anymore than they already have. I often think of all of the potential theater class field trips to Busch Gardens. Theater classes from all over would come to BGW just to see a double sized re-creation of the Globe Theatre, along with a brand-new high-tech show. I know that the show is in no way Shakespearean, but I would bet you that if Shakespeare had this type of technology, he definitely would have used it to its fullest potential. I think Busch Gardens is losing out on a great opportunity to do one of the things that they(used to)do best-Entertainment: Engage, Excite, Inspire

The best thing that could happen today is if we all arrive in Banbury tomorrow and see Scott standing there laughing, saying ", Just joking! False alarm!"

Can we just get this out of the way already?

Most Users: This is aweful. The worst thing the park has ever done. My memories are ruined.

A few others: It doesn't look that bad. We should wait until it's done. The park needs to innovate for the future. I'm sure kids will like it.

Alpen: Something funny that everybody likes.

There. We all can avoid a lot of trouble tomorrow.

I never thought BGW would ever come to this point. If you can't change anything for the better, don't change anything at all.

My biggest thing is that with all of the money they are spending on the paint for these buildings they could be using this money for paint for their roller coasters *cough *cough apollos chariot. Also they are spending this on something that is temporary *prays*
That's just my two cents .

All I can say is...email.
Chances are, with 50+ emails about this a day after it is released, perhaps it would indeed only be temporary. But Matthew did have a point in the post below.

I just don't understand, I just can't imagine that this can happen in one week with zero warning. I think their lack to announce any of this is because they knew they were going to experience a massive outcry. But the Ent. wanted what they wanted, and they didn't feel like having an Entwined situation again, so they decided to keep it all a secret. I just don't understand.
That being said though, this idea sounds fishy. They can't possibly repaint all the section or heck, even Globe Theatre in this short period of time.

You would be surprised how much can happen in 3 days of good weather with a paint sprayer and a crew of skilled (insert stereotypical slur here) painters.

I'm pretty sure building paint is a lot cheaper than roller coaster paint.

Paint and they just moved the same cutouts that were on the Coke Market construction walls, that's all I think, until tomorrow.

Those cutouts were atrocious enough on the construction walls.

One way or another...
