Could they just use that same material that’s in the LotD’s water park and the Forest of Fun playground? I’m not sure what it’s called, but it‘s colorful, almost kind of “soft”
Edit: This material is also underneath that pile of eggs that kids can climb inside (though I can’t remember if those eggs are still there or not).

^ It's often called "Pour 'n Play". Little Tykes uses it on a lot of playgrounds. It is also porous, which would allow rainfall through. Plus, it comes in colors. I'm thinking new sponsorship ideas. "Your logo here"

That would be a good solution in functionality, but I think it would clash with the overall design of the area.

The previous stone/dirt was fitting in nicely, but wasn't very erosion proof. (especially with kids digging for rocks)

They haven't done much with this as I took a couple of pics a good week ago (didn't post them) from the same angles and in comparing them nothing has really changed.

They are waiting until 2022 to open these new bars just in case Pantheon isn't ready yet they can advertise it as a "Pantheon of New Bar Offerings."
