I can confirm, Apollo is in desperate need of some fresh paint. It's so faded right now, it could really use that powerful purple color right about now.

The running rails aren't supposed to have paint on them. The section you pictured was an area that was painted, that faint purple on the running rails must have come from that.

So, I noticed that those revolting murals on the side of the train storage garage thingy are visible again. I'm not sure if the vines are dead or just dormant, because of the weather. I am probably a minority, but I really dislike those pictures and I would like the vines back.

As stated in about five threads already, the greenery hasn't had a chance to grow back yet. It was like that last year, and the years before. I think they're fine- they fit the theme well, too. Remove that and AC may as well be called "Purple Coaster."

Well, in Darkastle Ludwig cuts his head off. And Howl-O-Scream is filled with bloody gore. Why is a cartoon depiction on a poster of old Roman disasters any different? ;)

DK and HoS are supposed to be scary.  AC is a roller coaster named after a Greek/Roman god.  You are supposed to be riding a chariot to the sun or something like that.  There is no need for brutality in the art work.  Why don't they theme it around Greek/Roman mythology, rather than the Roman Coliseum?

The lions tearing people apart limb by limb was a part of Roman culture. The everyone in Rome was required to go to these shows in the Coliseum. The poster is accurate to what people would of see in Ancient and Imperial Rome. So I guess what I'm saying is that I am totally fine with the poster.

I understand why it is there, and I think it is stretch. I'm saying that given the actual theme of the coaster -- Greek/Roman mythology -- there several other, better ways to decorate the ride that wouldn't have been as gruesome. Other than also being Roman what does the Coliseum is really have to do with the god Apollo, anyway? By that logic they should have put up a series of aqueducts. I think they went with a cheap, easy, revolting cop-out, to be honest.

If the coaster is about the gods, then make theming about the gods. It is that simple.

Okay fair enough, it doesn't fit into the god theming, but in my defense it still fits into the Italy theme. At least it isn't a poster of a traveling circus from England, or something along those lines.
