I'm fine with the color change for this coaster. Griffon should be painted something completely different though.

An anagram generator, given “Griffon Alpengeist,” suggests “interloping gaffes.”

Interesting that it figured out the context of paint scheme without even having to ask.

Machine learning just keeps getting better and better.

If I’m being honest it looked a lot better in person. I don’t think it’s the same color blue as Griffon, it has more saturation. While I think it’s still a downgrade, I think it looks more “snowy mountain” than the dark green. Low key interested to see what the final product looks like.

I think we all need to remember that without getting a waiver approved by JCC which would likely be fought by KM the park is very limited in color choices for the the coasters.

I still prefer an ice blue over a sky blue for Alpie. Hopefully the new color will grow on me.

Honestly: Barf.

Too close to SFGAm Shockwave, which neither looked nor felt particularly good.

Few park guests will make that association, so Alp’s new look will just have to confuse and/or disappoint them on its own merits. Off to a solid start.

I’m still not a huge fan of the blue. Now that I’ve seen the entire element complete it’s starting to grow on me.

I know I might be in the minority here, I really think this is good looking. A real icy look. When it's done, it's going to be very different than what we're used to but it will give Alpengeist the vibrant look I believe it needs.
