Whoa! How strange, I've had the EXACT same dream multiple times over the years. And it was definitely of Alpengeist. In fact I think one of my first posts on this site was about my recurring dream of plunging off of Alpengeist into the abyss.

You know, I have never even considered the possibility of falling off Alpie. Neither Volcano, Manta, nor any Flying Dutchman, however, give me any sense of security.

I had a dream where I was driving down an empty highyway. It was in fog, but I knew that I was near an old abandoned hospital where I had explored when I was a dumb teen.

I dreamt that I got a phone call that was just a soft ratcheting then disconnected. A few minutes later there was another call, but the ratcheting was louder. After the third call I ignored it.

Once I got home, I went to unload by trunk, but I froze in horror as I saw Alpengeist in my back seat! It was there the whole time!

Not a coaster but Windseeker was the first time I’ve ever felt that way. I’m up there and all I’m thinking is “1 Bolt and 1 LAp bar is all that’s between me and 300 feet down.”

I also feel the most secure on coasters. Something about seeing the track.

^^-- yeah I rode Nacht Tower and it seemed twice as tall as Kingda Ka to me.

I've heard the claim about needing to limit consecutive rides to two on several coasters at other parks.

I have to wonder if it has anything to do with actual policies or BGW just rubbing off on them. I sometimes say "This isn't Busch Gardens!"

Some wheel covers are completely blue. Most likely waiting a repaint of the snow. Repaint in some spots.

Correction to my earlier post. After deep examination, every single wheel cover has the snow. The angle of the shots made it appear that some were painted blue, and some had the snow. I’ll try to get clear pictures soon.

Incidentally I've dreamed of that exact thing happening to me a number of times. Always and only on Alpengeist. WTF is that? And always when it's just about to take the first drop. I always fall off or fall out right then.

That said, Alpengeist is one of my favorite coasters ever.
I have that exact dream too like 4 times a year... is there something wrong with Alpengiest?

When I was younger, every time I would make a trip up there, I would have nightmares of falling out on Loch Ness the night before. Quite an interesting dream. It’s one of those dreams where it’s Busch, but it looks nothing like Busch.

I actually have a theory on why I do this. The Alpengiest restraints don't lock all the way down and this is what gives me those horrors.

I don’t understand?  In what way don’t they “lock all of the way down?”

sometimes the harnesses dont go far enough down and leave room. sometimes this happens with me, but going down the first drop pushes it that extra bit down and locks it with no extra room.

The locking of the hardness will not be the same for everyone as this implies everyone is the same weight and size! The harness has set levels at which it locks, more like the concept of anti rollbacks on the lift hill as it clicks every so often. There will always be that chance of space between the next lock for the harness. The first drop causes pressure and pushes the harness against you and allows for the extra click, which otherwise would be achievable unless the attendants physically push down the harness (even then would still be hard to do).So, in short, the harness is designed like this because of the airlock mechanisms on the coasters, and every coaster has this but may be different for you based on the coaster. This occurs for me personally on Griffon and no other coaster at Busch. Again it is your specific body, not the coaster.

sorry maybe i should have specified further...i know that the harness locks at different places and so extra space depends on a person's size. but thank you for clarifying; that is what i was trying to say to nicole
