Cedar Point work with this local brand called GV Art + Design and they make honestly the best merch for the park. I own their Steel Vengeance shirt (not on their website for some reason) and the "collage" shirt and they're both super nice. Obviously Great Adv would need to find their own local brand to partner with but man I would kill to have something like this.
I'm convinced that JDC BBQ is on the way out to make a larger Nitro Plaza. I think having it right across from the Pine Barrels Bar/Snack stand is a waste of space, and they should just renovate the later to be a more comprehensive food booth.
yeah, that's what I think, theres are kitchens in the pine barrels bar/snack stand that can be reused for that while the jdc bbq booth gets demolished for a new ride plaza/queue line for nitro

They have a great natural lake they need to utilize better. It's been totally abandoned over the last 30 years as the park emphasis has shifted to the front-facing north side. The never-built Giga over by the log flume concept is something I'd love them to revisit. If I have to lose a favorite in Medusa to redevelopment, put a Giga or a long woody like KI's Beast over the Medusa and arena plots and have it wind out the wooded peninsula next to the safari, a la Nitro's meander. A lakeside run would be tremendous for a ride.

I'm probably in the minority here but I'd rather not see anything built on/along the lake and let it keep its natural beauty. Something in the arena plot that goes along the safari for a little stretch would be cool, like Cheetah Hunt.
I was always in favor of having two coasters over by that Medusa area due to how there isn’t a ton to do, but a crazy giga + best of the west honestly might be able to hold that area down. Could make the giga western themed to go along with the restaurant
I’m still annoyed as hell that Joker got plopped right in front of a direct view of Switlik Lake from the park entrance that hadn’t existed at any point in the park’s history until Aqua Spectacle was demolished. Could’ve just as easily shifted it over to the left where Great Lake Grandstand was, which was demolished at the same time as Aqua Spectacle.

ok, I have a out there blue sky that got my attention after seeing the state of skull mountain and seeing the Minecraft coaster coming to chessington, potentially as skull mountain replacement
Just to be clear, this is very blue sky and likely never to happen. I'm only considering this since skull mountain facade is not in best shape and the age of the coaster and the vacant chop six building. So... what if they expanded the building over to the old chop six building and replaced it with a new indoor coaster similar to the upcoming Minecraft coaster from chessington?
this will require the relocation of the Jolly Roger ride to the ride pad of swashbuckler and the removal of the old rc boat area, it would still be called skull mountain but the old model gets replaced with a new model
the old exit will removed and a new exit is in the old entrance way and the new entrance is where Jolly Roger currently sits
Realistically, will we ever see six flags buying coasters from the company who making one for chessington?, possibly not due to all of the things that happening right now but they have the potential to make skull mountain better.

I saw a comment about Saturday update of great adventure and he suggests that the park should get a new wooden coaster and called it the jersey cyclone, I say, that would work, remove the right stuff building & slingshot and you got room for it using the empty right stuff & slingshot spaces as well as dare devil dive & go karts spaces
I want a classic woodie at Great Adventure so bad. The Boardwalk is honestly the best place for it.
It makes too much sense and too many people would enjoy it. Not a good fit for the park's current direction. Maybe if we're lucky we can get another bottleneck like ZDT's Switchback

I can get on board with your complaints about the shuttles. But it’s just complaining / rage bait at this point to say that if Great Adventure were to build a woodie they would do a shuttle. You can’t legitimately think that’s the case. Your comment does read like sarcasm and I hope it is but I think this is why people get frustrated every time you comment, specifically because of unnecessary posts like these (even though you make legitimate points most of the time)
Family Wooden Coaster like rolling thunder would be the best rollercoaster fit after Spire. I would like to see this go in frontier adventures in the stadium arena and the lake. They can bring back a Wild West show and a target game they used to have. Wild safari station should be relocated to the revamped golden kingdom. The next priority needs to be the golden kingdom, with a brand new “Ballins Jungleland”, new safari entrance (can use rolling thunder’s plot if need), and a thrill multi launch in KA spot to he spiritual successor to KA. Yes, I would like to see a full circuit launch coaster, spire and flash are shuttles. A BMM giga is not a priority as it’s similar to Nitro and Spire would already bring that giga to the park.
I mean it's hyperbolic but not necessarily sarcastic. There were people on this forum hoping for a family boomerang next. The forced-upcharge Six Flags experience is quite similar to the Spirit Airlines model: deprive the consumer (in this case by inducing long waits) and demand payment for a tolerable experience. We see how that's worked out
A family boomerang serves a completely different demographic than the shuttle we have and the shuttle that’s under construction.
Regardless, jumping to the conclusion of wooden shuttle is just disingenuous. There is quite literally zero reason to believe they would go that route, and whether intended or not, it comes off as being negative for the sake of being negative.

Is Switchback not more similar to a family boomerang than to either flash or phantom spire in demographic? Just seems like people getting mad at a logical extension of my mindset again
