There's just too much flying for me to be too sure of any of the specifics yet so it's best to keep it broad. Broadly speaking though, I've definitely become pretty convinced that the parks without park presidents returning don't have park president announcements (yet—depending on how things go) because their future in the Six Flags chain is currently uncertain.
Fair, but it’s quite concerning for Six Flags’s future if like 10 more parks are under threat after the previous 8 (7 sold to EPR*, 1 closed)

* 6 of the new EPR parks are Enchanted, the other is La Ronde, which is being taken over by someone from Montreal I believe?

Kingswood incoming
Kingswood is actually already the name of the amphitheater at Kings Dominion, which means yiur name suggestion is perfect..

Talking about the amphitheater, do you think if Herschend bought Kings Dominion, wiuld the amphitheater be used more? I feel like maybe just because they seem quite musically inclined with Dollywood and Silver Dollar City.

if Herschend gets Fiesta Texas, how would they deal with the Looney Tunes/DC? It’s easy to take out the Road Runner/Bugs theming, but it’s gonna be a pain in the ass with DC

I can't imagine that UP wouldn't get into a bidding war for KD and SFFT if they are on the sale block. That's major pricing power for them in those markets. If I'm SF I would definitely be playing these buyers off one another
United Parks can't even pay their IP license agreements, or operate any of their parks other than bgw in any sort of professional fashion. What makes you think they have the money to buy a whole nother park?

As you said, removing Looney Tunes theming is simple, presumably because there is only 6 Looney Tunes rides in the park. It’s quite easy to drop the Bugs’ off Bugs’ White Water Rapids in Spassburg, renaming it simply White Water Rapids, but I think Herschend would likely give it a proper rename after maybe a couple of years, presumably to something German or German-inspired at least. The 2 Looney Tunes rides in Rockville are easy to detheme, as Daffy's School Bus Express could just become School Bus Express, as that fits the 1950s America vibe, while Taz’s Tornado can be renamed by going to the ride type which is a swing ride so maybe Lil’ Swing, or Soda Swing, both matching the 50s, while maybe something to do with Swing music but that’s more 30s and 40s. For the Looney Tunes rides in Crackaxle Canyon, Yosemite Sam's Wacky Wagons could just be Wacky Wagons, Foghorn Leghorn’s Barnyard Railway would be perfect as just Crackaxle Canyon Railroad, while Road Runner Express, which is different in this park as its tye name for a regular slightly thrill-ish mine train, rather than a family coaster, the name Canyon Blaster would be perfect, as it is also used for Great Escape’s old Road Runner Express. In terms of removing theming, I think all Herchend would do to start with is remove any Looney Tunes IP decorations, vinyls and props, before giving proper theming a couple of years later, as part of a proper children’s investment with maybe some new rides.

However for DC rides, it’s slightly trickier. Batman is in Rockville, so easily some 50s inspired names could work to do with the flipping, like Flip Flop or Sunnyside Up, but it would likely require a complete repaint of the coaster. However, I think the entire ride would likely be on the chopping block if Herschend bought Fiesta Texas, as S&S 4D Freespins don’t seem like their type of ride. I wouldn’t be surprised if Batman’s plot in Rockville become the site of a GCI or Gravity Group woodie under Herschend. Wonder Woman is also in Rockville, but I have no clue for a name.

For the entire DC Universe area, while part of the land before it’s 2024/2025 expansion was Thrillseeker Park, it’s original 2019 footprint and part of the 2024/2025 expansion was originally Spassburg, so I’d expect that Herschend would merge DC Universe into Spassburg, which since tye DC takeover had been left with Bugs’ White Water Rapids, the Grand Carousel and Kinderstein as its only rides. I’d expect the rides that used to have names fitting the German theme would be renamed back, like DC Super-Villains Swing back to Die Fledermaus, The Penguin: Gotham City Getaway back to Kinderbahn, and Batgirl Coaster Chase back to either its first Six Flags era name of Rollschuhcoaster, or its actual original name of Pied Piper. For all the other rides in DC Universe, I don’t know what they could be renamed but I’d expect them to fit the German theme if merged into Spassburg. However, I think Herschend could retheme DC Universe as its own area, not merged back into Spassburg, but I’d prefer the merger back into Spassburg. For what the theme could be, I’m not sure as you already have a Hispanic themed entry area, a 1920s boomtown, a German village, a 1950s town and a boardwalk area. I think possibly they could go for a Wild West theme which the park surprisingly lacks but Crackaxle Canyon’s boomtown theme sorta covers that, or they could do a proper full-scale Hispanic area, but retain Los Festivales theme as it’s the entry land. Another theme idea is a weird one but how about theme it to a quarry like the park used to be before it was built, and also Superman’s top and the drop is built at the top of the quarry wall.

It’s more likely that Herschend buy parks off United than United going into a bidding war with Herschend for some Six Flags parks.

unknown regarding the state of the other parks currently. SF is looking to get just over 400m for KD.

Also just making sure this is clear, this is just word of mouth. I would love Herschend to take on these parks to be a major part of their portfolio
400 MILLION!!!

Hypothetical: would a potential sale of KD to Herschend stop the current sale of its excess land?
I’d say probably, as it would be quite weird for Six Flags to sell the main park to Herschend, then still own random plots of land. I’d assume that Six Flags would sell Herschend the entire site then Herschend can do whatever they’d like. I think Kings Dominion’s gigantic amount of land owned would be perfect to develop a similar offering to what Silver Dollar City and Dollywood has, for example they could build a resort hotel on part of the land, and maybe other stuff, like maybe a waterparks expansion and seperate enterance and parking lot round the back of Kings Dominion’s, which would then allow for the waterparks to be contained fully south of Racer 75, allowing the waterparks section north of Racer 75 to be removed and become a Kings Dominion expansion pad.

United Parks is a tricky situation. They actually have some solid liquidity/cash flow and are fairly good at leveraging their debt. They are in much better shape than Six Flags and carry slightly more debt than Herschend does but is kind of in the same situation. This points us in the saddest direction...United can afford all of the stuff they haven't been paying, they just choose not to! Them being cheap has been a choice! It looks better on their balance sheet. This is 100% hedge fund operation at its finest!

Like I said previously, they can definitely afford to expand by buying more parks....the problem becomes that they can't dial in the operations they have at their existing parks that we don't want that virus spreading to newer parks.

I could definitely see them being interested in some parks, but that doesn't mean following through. With their present cash flow and liquidity with their line of credit, they could make a big purchase or too. Again though, then we will see the other parks suffer even more. I would rather them get their present properties back to what they were before even thinking about buying more parks. But, not everything goes my way haha.
