That means they would have 4 years to design a new ride, get permisson to build it and go through all the leagal stuff and then get the construction started. Plus, the fact that they are both blue, I understand completely that, that was because it needs to try to blend in with the sky, then the Dragon and Griffon. Both are very similar creatures. The main differences is 1 breathers fire. Other than that, they both fly. They both have a red/orange/yellow color scheme. Plus Busch like to recycle so how would they recycle Drachen Fire, well by melting it down and forming new tracks for a consolation coaster. It's like when you loose out on a big prize, but they lost out on a great coaster, so they built a consolation coaster. A coaster that is better and takes the place of the other coaster. Plus what does a Griffon have to do with France? It seems like it would fit in a Greek/Roman theme. Maybe they made up the Griffon to be similar to Drachen Fire just so they go a long. Why couldn't they use a more French theme? There are plenty other names they could have used, with plenty other icons, but no they had to go with a mythical creature that has almost nothing to do with France. Plus maybe you could be in denial. You don't want to accept the fact this could be true because you loved Drachen Fire so much you couldn't bare to believe this possible fact. I G2G for now, Grammys are coming on soon and I got 3-D glasses for the Michael Jackson tribute video.

Fur Dozy said:I might be wrong here but I believe that the proper spelling is gryphon, griffin is also good, being the spelling for it in other languages where the primary spelling doesn't make sense(the y and ph). griffon is the phonetic spelling that has become popular thanks to that thing called the internet, where you can show that you have absolutely no spelling ability and at the same time blend in with the crowd.
