It was pretty hard to watch it Joe. There must be something wrong with the main electrical power because nothing was working except the audio. Hopefully this means there isn't a bunch of motors and solenoids blown out. Otherwise some things would have been working and some not.

Imagine what my reaction was walking up to this on the midway. Let's hope for a speedy recovery
This is just another example of how bad things have gotten since the Paramount days. Back then quality control would never have let this happen.
According to Evan yesterday, the Singing Mushrooms have been fixed.
I wonder if there's going to be more area enchanments for 2015, alongside the new WaterWorks expansion. I hope to see the Mason Dixon Music Hall name next year in the main theater, that would be great wouldn't it?
Well, it's come to an end. Kings Dominion's 2014 operating season is officially over. It's a rather bittersweet day for me. It feels like yesterday I was looking forward to seeing our friends the Singing Mushrooms for the very first time. Now it's time to look ahead to the second year of the 40th anniversary celebration. Who knows what the future holds!

I ended my season just like I started my season, broken down on a ride XD !
I got stuck on the Crypt as it was doing the first set of flips. Our feet were just about over our heads, laid back all the way where it just stopped. Luckily the safety system releases the air brakes and you rotate back and you swing back and forth for a little bit. Fun times!
To end the day yesterday, they were able to open Intimidator 305 for one last time for the last hour of the night. So my season ended with 2 rides on that. At the front, all of the park ambassadors and a select number of individuals had a high five line for all of the guests exiting the park.
What a great way to end the season!

I sure hope that for the 40th Celebration in 2015 that the park does more improvements other than WaterWorks.
I'm just puzzled as to why, if more 40th anniversary news was actually coming, they'd announce such massive renovations to their water park (which I'm happy about, don't get me wrong) without even so much as teasing more news for 2015. KD was all aboard the hype train for their two year celebration well before this time last year. This year, we've heard nothing.
