If you read up, this argument ended 2 days ago. Don’t spark it again.

Wow!  I did not know you got promoted to admin here.  Congrats!  That is a huge responsibility!!  You know The actual admins have done a miraculous job of being fair and even handed and maintaining a community that values honesty, integrity, and civil discourse!  I hope that now that you are part of that team you can do the same!

You’re acting extremely immature. That statement was both unnecessary and rude. All I was trying to do was make sure the thread doesn’t derail and go into another huge argument.
The churro discussion is over. Ive decided that if I want a snack when leaving the park at closing to skip any snack stands to avoid any chance of team members not doing their job and getting themselves in trouble. I will stop at 7-Eleven just down the road where I know they will accept my cash.

My husband and I noticed the same thing! We went down there to do the boat ride and there was a lone boat operator down there that told us the ride was closed because of the lake level. He said sometimes the park will lower it via a level gate down by the kingsmill golf course / Busch Road. He seemed pretty disappointed and wasn’t sure if it would be open by opening day. There was a lot of rain this February, so seeing It that low was surprising. I was disappointed the boats weren’t open for Halloscream.... I hope they aren’t closed for an extended period this spring.

Yes in the winter they put the boats out in the middle of the water near the docks and tie them off then open the gate to lower the water level, Ive never quite figured out why but they drop it a couple feet.

The new cars on Loch Ness look good, they need the orange stripe but to me they gave a rougher side to side ride. I never remember hitting my ears as much as I did today.

Agreed 100%. I have never hit my head so much on Nessie. Still had fun. We rode it late afternoon - absolutely no line at all. Went to the rear seat first and then walked right back on for the front.

Could someone please provide photos of the widened paths near first aid and the Heatherdowns Station? I'd like to know what landscaping or structures were removed.

still a crappy irresponsible photo ...

heatherdowns pathway was expanded last year, if you visited last year and saw it the path hasn't changed, the greenery on the other hand has

I noticed the sane thing they don't do it every year so I am thinking maybe it had to do with Nessi's painting.

I don't know if this belongs here but i was curious.. Have there been any issues at BGW with the last few rounds of storms that have come through with in the last few weeks. We lost alot of trees and such in my area and was just curious how the park had faired as well.

Another new thing we noticed was the park now has paper straws. This lines up with their FL parks as well.

I always use refillable cups but I got a paper straw during Christmas Town to stir my hot chocolate and it didn’t work out so well.. :(

I didn’t notice anything last week. I would imagine they cleaned up any debris.

I refuse a straw at restaurants because they negatively impact the environment, So I always liked how the paper cups came without lids, but the paper straws are so awesome, I got angry when my girlfriend put a straw in my drink but was then pleasantly surprised to find that they were paper

I tend to jump my straw drink to drink, and use it as a toothpick at the end. But my mom is such a germaphobe a grew up being forced to use a straw because “they don’t always clean the cups”.
