2018 Park Changes and Projects

Here's a picture of the park logo at the entrance where they put in the path so people don't trample on the flowers, some pics of the new bar being built outside of the candy shop and a shot of the extension on Brady's stand in Ireland.

this is going to sound so nit-picky, but the ribs weren't covered in any sauce whatsoever and try as i might, after a few attempts of trying to rip the meat off the bone i could not eat them because it felt like chewing on a tire covered in salt and pepper. definitely not what i expected from a place that otherwise has amazing food :/
There were new down spouts in France. Also despite claims to the contrary, I could not see how the bridge to Griffon had changed at all.
Oh, also the Pepto building seems to have been somewhat re-configured. There is a new awning on the Griffon side, and that is where the cash register is. I think that would give the attendant a better view of the shop and perhaps prevent petty theft.

There were also huge coke bottle signs in the back of Royal Palace.

Not sure about any work but at park open there were a few employees with wipes wiping what appeared to be a white film off of the black fence. It seemed odd looking at the time but I had no idea on any bridge work or I would have looked more.

This is correct. I was told by my step dad before we entered the park that the donuts wouldn't be ready for sneak peak day because they were still working on stuff before they can pass inspection.
I know this is slightly off-topic but why on earth have they let Apollo go so long without a repaint? You would think that the park would want its most visible ride looking well-maintained...

Doubt this is the reason, but before plaques were given out, if a crew of ride operators got 10k people through the ride in a single day, they would sign / engrave their names into the track on the top of the lift. It’s still visible to this day because it hasn’t gotten a repaint since.
