Three of the newer coasters I've hit this summer; Rip Ride Rocket, Cheetah Hunt, and Daredevil all use this concept and had good capacity (when they were running). The line seems to be constantly moving. These are all Intamins too, don't know if it's just them.

Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rocket is made by Maurer Söhne and Daredevil Dive @ SFoG is by Gerstlauer.

You are correct on both accounts. They all have good capacity with the smaller trains.

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

What is with Drachen Fire's area being called "Bid Alternate #5"? I can see the other four relate solely to the new coaster and then #5 is just out there...

And it looks like the whole area will be tightly fenced off, too; so I guess we won't get any inside the ride pictures unless someone got permission to be back there or an employee sneaked a few pictures out.

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

WellMaybe It will be just some of chain link fence where you can see threw. I believe theres a law or something where if the track is under 15ft or something like that I fence is needed to make sure a train doesn't hit anyone if anyone is in the area for some odd reason. So its possible that you will be able to see some of the ride for pics, at least were the drop is because in one of the pictures it looks like a building will be at the top of that hill so that should get some good pictures. but not much.

Anything can be designed to be dealt with. 125 speakers and 24 subwoofers in one train what?

I hope most of you realize I am not referencing 2012 yet another launch coaster with those features.

As far as video goes I have no idea and could careless.

Well if that is a law, KD broke it with Dominator because you can touch the track, THE TRACK!!!, while waiting in line...

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

yeah... KD's ops are allowed to walk up and down the platform if a train is moving in or out of the station... We get taken of the ride (saftied) if we walk when a train is not in in the station, let alone when a train is moving. The platform turns into a ride restricted area when a train is moving or not in the station... We banned a guy from the park because he entered a restricted area a few weeks ago

I don't know what you're trying to say. But I'm going to assume you walk around banning people from stuff. :D

It is something I do not care to elaborate on but as a result of me and others I worked with a number of people have been banned. Some understand what I mean.

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

TPR says that concrete footers are seen now at ground zero (and no, not the old footers left from BBW). Confirmation?

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

There is absolutely no way footers are being installed this early in the process.

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

I was there last night. Believe me, there are concrete footers, but they are by no means new. I'm with James on this one. That just sounds impossible, especially after the weather that we've been having. I mean they're still cleaning up from it.

RE: 2012 Coaster (Name To Be Discovered)

I was there yesterday too. There were Caterpillars shoveling and moving dirt in the big hole in the ground, definitely old footers, and a whole lot of trees clears there and at the Rhine river drop site.

Saw workers on Mach Tower too.
The fireworks were great. Certainly a lot of color in the park with the Illuminights decorations!
