I just read on TPR that construction for the 2012 coaster began today. Barriers are up around the old BBW station and you can even see some activity from the kiddie bumper cars.

Did anybody here go today and see anything?

So wouldn't this mean that the schedule that was posted a while back somewhat true ? Since , going back and reading it , it says that the ride would be fabricated on May 2 , 2011 and than SFX Building Foundation May 31 , 2011 . So if construction did start today I wouldn't be surprised. It says that " Selective Station Demo" 6/28/11 but i've heard that they have already taken down the lockers and etc and have put up construction walls so this schedule and what they are actually doing is a little .. confusing ? or is it just me ?

Barriers have been constructed on the vehicle exit end of the station extending all the way to the bumper cars. The queue entrance and everything has no barriers and is just as it has set all season.

I was kinda wishing that this new coaster would have something like the "Windcatcher" tower element that is on cheetah hunt. maybe instead of just launching and then go start to go up hill the new coaster at bgw will go on this rumored turn table and launch straight up and then twist some and then go into the covered bridge part. that would be cool. even though its probably wont happen. bummer.

i cannot belive i didnt notice that fence when i went last weekend. i knew i realized something wasnt the same!

i think that fence was up this most recent weekend. but i was too focused on mach tower to pay attention to a green fence.
