Some people in other threads think this teaser is leaning into the family market. I tend to just think this is a huge hint at the theme being a safari outpost area.

So Swoosh just explained himself a bit in a recent post on CF - the reason he incited us to look for it before it got taken down (it was on WoF's website btw) is because he wanted to make sure that leak hadn't spread. There is no Orient Express revival - Project 50/Zambezi Zinger and Project 2.0 are one and the same. Project 50 was cooked up because people were dangerously close to figuring out all the details.

Honoring a beloved and long-gone ride by bringing its signature feature back on a new ride on its fiftieth anniversary. This is my fanboy fantasy for Busch Gardens Williamsburg in 2034.

Okay......I want one of these [spiral lift GCI Titan Track coasters] in Virginia now.
KD / BGW ..........you know what to do.
A successor to Glissade would also be very welcome.

I have a great deal of commentary to make about this but I feel @Zachary would be better suited at it if he feels the need to because he directly interacted with them via DMs.

The only thing I'm going to say about it is, his entire schtick smells of rotten fish and he himself is responsible for most of the community getting "too close" to begin with.

A video came out from Cedar Fair VP of Entertainment, Ken Parks talking about not only the new Zambezi Zinger, but that Cedar Fair’s new goal is to bring Worlds of Fun back to a place that’s about immersive theming like it used to be. Worlds of Fun started as a park with a very immersive theme and it would be great to see them bring the park back to its roots. This looks to me like a sign that Cedar Fair is certainly not done with Worlds of Fun in 2023 and we could see more thematic investments coming in the future. I think this would be a great move for cedar fair and it’s an exciting time to watch that park grow. What do you all think?

Here’s the the interview:

The video mentions a new park entry area dubbed "Gateway Gardens." Is there any more information about that published by the park yet? It sounds super promising!
I haven’t heard anything additional, but what I would assume is it’s just going to be a landscaping project. There’s a lot of grass at the front of the park and I bet you they’re going to actually put plants and flowers there. WOF has a large greenhouse complex, so it wouldn’t be hard for them to do and maintain.
