Here's some of my ideas on how to improve the winter (and even summer) experience over the next couple seasons.

The park needs more indoor dining year round. La Cucina has consistently been underutilized and Marco Polo and the adjacent seating area could also maybe be closed in better for winters. I would also like to see Annie's integrated into Grogun's as a small table service restaurant. Another small sit down restaurant, maybe serving a higher end menu, could go in France where Josephine's Creamery is located. That location could be expanded some or include some outdoor table service tables for nice weather.

Another maybe easy investment would be to put an affordable flat ride in Castle O'Sullivan. Eventually a new dark ride should go in Darkastle.

I think most of us would appreciate more options for dining throughout the year.

Or they could bring back a decent stage show to CoS.

I think they could realistically use DK's building for some kind of indoors midway sort of thing for now while more permanent plans are developed. Maybe a Festhaus extension?

There used to be a sit down restaurant where Josephine's is located about 8 or 9 years ago. No one ever ate there and it closed.

Was it ever open though? I seem to remember it was some kind of fried chicken place on the signage, but it was never open.

Bistro 205 was the place. Yes, it was a chicken place that was set up like a Piccadilly where you chose what you wanted on your plate from the serving line. I ate there a couple of times and found it pretty good. But @BGWnut is right in that it wasn't popular and it closed for a while. They tried to open it one year as an all dessert place but that didn't work and closed again before it became Josephine' s.

Bistro 205 was actually for a period of time (I think it lasted from March until about September) an honest sit down restaurant where you ordered food and it was brought to you. It wasn't successful and the friend chicken place that @Alf33 describes was one of the later iterations as they tried to find something that could go in that location. It was a lot of different things (and most for only a season or part of a season) before it became Josephine's.

Do you think that if this all season thing goes good for them we could see then modify these Germany expansion plans to include more than just drachen spire and some "minor renovations". Like maybe a Addition to the festhaus (so guest are more prepared for the potentially cold wenters) and maybe some small family/kid rides? IMG_20210106_162102.jpg

I think it would have been more successful if they had marketed it better.
Totally agree, and I’ll add that it seemed to get as much enduring support from park management as Conan’s stint on the Tonight Show got from NBC.

Yet somehow London Rocks avoided the “give it a couple of months and then just pull the plug” treatment. There is no justice!

they would have to edit and re submit them to jcc with the revised plans

I could see it being a future project, but tied into Drachenspire
