Better have that thing done sooner than later, some of my crew have already booked flights for the first weekend of June and I've planned for then too 
So it's opening almost halfway through the season
Let's not get carried away, June 20 would be about a month BEFORE the halfway point of the season, assuming Great America is open through the weekend after Halloween as usual.

Genuinely baffling how they fit all that in there. Going forward I’m expecting more surprises now that we know Six Flags can come up with a way to basically fit any ride in any space
This and Siren’s Curse genuinely impressed me in terms of creativity for their plots. SC more so because it was such a last minute addition, but both parks are equally tight on land and yet continue to manage to add without removing when the opportunity presents itself.
According to the ride permits, final inspections are scheduled for May 15th.
Thanks to ECG on the CoasterForce forums who received the media invite- Media day is scheduled for Thursday, May 22nd, and opening should follow very soon after!
The application for the commercial shoot will be open from 10am CST to 3pm CST today.

I went to Great America for the first time last June so of course they now have a huge B&M to draw me back. May have to jump on one of those Southwest flights to Midway to give this a spin especially if it rides smoothly. But if it rides like Iron Menace, yeah I'll wait.
It looks shakier than Rapterra to me lolIt doesn't look bad to me.
I mean, I’ve said that I’m not the biggest fan of B&M, and the rattle is definitely there, but it doesn’t look bad at all. Should it rattle? No lmao, but it’s a far cry from being a dealbreaker for what looks like a great coaster.
I'm riding it tomorrow for the commercial shoot. Will report back.
Okay, I agree. Just watched a reverse POV of Rapterra again and, though Rapterra displays the bounce that Rakshasa doesn't, there does seem to be more side-to-side on Rakshasa than Rapterra.
I haven't seen any evidence of any big jolts like Iron Menace has towards the end though so that's probably a good sign at least?
