180 ft tall, 96 degree drop, 5 inversions?

Sounds like an infinity.

If those specs are accurate, pretty sure this would have the most inversions on a B&M dive as well as being the steepest dive as well. Just looking at that in case it is a dive. Maybe there's one out of the few I looked up but Yukon striker only has four inversions.

I’m 75% certain it’s a dive coaster and I don’t think that’s a bad addition for a park like Great America at all, was hoping for a 200 footer personally. Now the 25% chance it’s something WAY more interesting…..

I mean cmon the rest of America (and Canada because) us Virginians been riding a dive coaster for almost 20 years now! It’s like 2016 came and we went from 2 dives to possibly 8 in 9 years.

Well or B&M made them more cost effective and parkgoers love watching people freak out on the holding brake which makes the most sense.

175 feet. 5 inversions. 7 across seating.

If these were the stats. I’d be pretty excited

The addition is exciting! It’s exciting! Yaaaaaaaaaay new dive coaster!

I just think they should be going for Yukon Strikers record with how big and popular that park particularly is. It just feels more right to me than a slightly bigger and hopefully smoother Iron Menace. Regardless, Chicagoans will be happy to enjoy another above average ride in their park next year.

As a fellow Chicagoan. I’d be beyond ecstatic to get a Dive Coaster here

I think you’re not viewing my post in the context I intend. If you frequent Great America this is very exciting. If you’ve ridden 275+ coasters and live an hour from another dive coaster, it’s another dive coaster. By all means enjoy the new ride and watching construction 😊
