I have an answer to the barn owl on display I'm Wolf Valley. I was told that do to limited back stage habits it was the only bird typically living 24/7/365 outdoors. As such during the time the outbreak began to occur it was the only real exposure risk. apparently there is no real good way to test for asymptomatic cases which is why the elected to keep it outside rather then bring it inside and risk it being a possible vector for the rest of the birds. The apparently are working on additional steps other the the already taken measures of the plastic roof and shield around it's house to reduce the risk of an infection.

what if they took out all of the animals, free them into the woods next to the park plenty of room over there, and then put a kick ass GCI that runs through all of wolf valley. they could even chop down the trees in the hamlet to reuse them for the ride and lower the cost!! it could have a sweet high five element at the Pet Shenaenaegans theater too.

thoughts?

The animals are part of BGW/BGT..... in some ways it would be like Disney getting rid of the Disney characters.

Parks are, or at least should be, about a lot more than just roller coasters and rides.

No. Just no. We already have a GCI with InvadR. One GCI is enough. Also, it’s one of the only sections in the park where you can sit (the area behind Lorikeet Glen) and just relax and decompress. It’s so calming back there. So putting a new ride there would totally kill that vibe.

personally the amount of trees stresses me out. the trees block the sightline, leading to extreme stress. i struggle to see my favorite attractions like griffon and loch ness monster and feel trapped in a never ending maze. is this supposed to be howl o screem or something year round?

if they tore down all the tres and put ina gci wooden coaster it would feel like a THEME park, not some forest, which bushc gardens is niot. the reason why the parkc is so magical is for all of its great attracions, not some dinky forest, the park already has verboilten. we dont need more trees, they just waset space and take up room where coasters could go.

a dueling gci would also compete with giraffe racers! a sweet ass dueling b&m giga coaster that could replace int(r)imadtor 305. imagine if wolf valley was home to two hyper GCI wooden coasters called wolf coasters with a stall over the bridge and a airtime ill under it? the interaction would be unparralled, and busch gardens would become a world class park among like the likes of disney and universal, thoughts?

If you want a park that is nothing but roller coasters, isn't that six flags? I believe the trees blocking the slight lines is the exact point! If you want to make this park world class like Disney or Universal we'd need more flat rides. More rides with screens. Not more coasters. Have you been to Disney? Disney only have 1, maybe 2 roller coasters per park! The wild animals at Busch gardens, especially the wolves, are things that make this park unique!

It’s just annoying as hell to me- I get triggered easily and hate it when people come on forums like these to create chaos. Back to the topic though, even if they wanted to put a ride back here, they likelihood of that would severely affect the animals here. This is, outside of the stables in Scotland, the main animal area. You’ve got the lorikeets, the wolves, the American Barn owl, and the eagles here, as well as the abbey stone theater and the pet shenanigans theater that would make construction hard. On top of that, so much tree removal would be done and that would make less shade, which in the Virginia summers is desperately needed.

Supporting that a wild eagle was the cause of the prolonged closer and redesign of the outdoor eagle in closer I took these only about half a mile from the park today.
