Okay.. It's okay.. I really liked the launch. Have to say it's 50% of the fun on this one. The instant 0-70 intense speed is tons of fun. Then up and out of the Volcano. This is where, much like the parody video, it becomes... Meh. It's repetitive and slow. The rolls, while fun, provide hang time. But with three in a row, I lost a little interest. Then it's a nice big sweeping speed turn to a stop.
It's definitely lacking a little more excitement. Could've put a loop somewhere along the way it seems, into and out of the mountain maybe. I don't know. It's a fun ride, but not one I'd want to wait 2 hours for. It's a 30 min tops wait. It's also over really fast IMO. I rode it a few times. Queue line needs a little more interest along the way. I remember the old Haunted Mountain and seeing broken remnants in the dirty decay don't really pay homage to the past. I looked down in there and was kind of saddened. Just remove it at this point. And for the Smurf Mountain loading area above, I think it would be cool to have one of them peaking over the railing or something. Their attempts at nostalgia really fall short for those that remember the real mountain from the past.
