Well, we did get to ride on Sunday, but they're still having occasional issues with it. Heard it went down a few times Sunday and I saw empty trains stopped right before the turn out of the station to the first launchers. Do they ever run 3 trains on this one? RCDB notes they have 3 trains but I only saw the two on track and none in the hanger in the mountain.

RCDB is wrong; there are two trains. I don't know if there was ever a third train, but there wouldn't be any use for it. The ride is so short that the second train already sits in the break run behind the station while waiting for the first train to leave.

That's exactly what I thought. That and there is really no MCBR on this ride where they could physically stop a second train should it be necessary if two were launched at the same time. Only one is at the bottom where it currently screeches to a halt, correct?

There could have been 3 trains at one point in time because if I remember right, there used to be a separate area for exiting and another for loading. That would be 3 spots that could hold a train. One would be on the brake run.

SWStevo is correct. The previous setup was for two in the station, and one on the track. Seems they gave up on any idea of good capacity though.

There are 3 trains one is in storage.

The station was revamped into its current incarnation in 2014 mainly due to the addition of FastLane and to cut down on the required number of operators.

There are 5 blocks on Volcano; Launch Waiting, Launch, Slow Down, Holding, and the Station.

By "storage", you mean off site? Because it's not in the hanger inside the mountain. Probably backstage somewhere in a container?

Volcano is back up and running faster!!

You're not kidding. Back row is open for probably the first time all year, even, as of Monday. I've felt it go faster lightly loaded, but that's rough, for it to go like this with an almost full train is a new experience.

Light crowds too ... is it July yet?
