Drawing isn't until May 18th, the 1st birthday of Verbolten.

Actually, it's not a drawing, there will be 15 finalists at the park, and each will be given a key, one of which works in the car.

It's fine as far as I know it hasn't had any major issues for the whole year so far. And it doesn't brake down every other hour now too. You'll be fine.

Thought this looked cool.

I want to say this was the image for Verbolten's official website while it was being built. I also want to say this settled one of the many crazy debates (about minute details ;)) in the original V-Bolt thread; about how long the ride was going to last.

Plus it has a lot of sharp turns which can make you feel like the speed is increasing when it is actually decreasing.

How is verbolten running this weekend? Going tomorrow!

The ride seems to have been running beautifully this year.

This.^
No real problems at all so far this season and running five trains has made it super efficient. And it has helped a lot with the extremely long lines it gets. This ride isn't just a people-eater, it's a people-inhaler.

Riding it again today, I noticed a couple things.
1. VBolt is now my second favorite ride behind AC.
2. Even having ridden it several times now, Verbolten still possesses a certain unexpectedness and suspense, which on most coasters ends after the first ride. The event building really enhances its re-rideability.

They should set the drop track to have a random timer from like 1-10 seconds after the system does all of its checks before it drops, so even for the people that have ridden it many times still get surprised.

The funny thing is, I still get surprised even after riding it several times.
It's a different feeling than anything else I've ever ridden. Larry Giles described it best, "Like someone took the floor out from under you."

I like this idea!:) Because every time I here the hydraulics tighten I know it is coming right after that. After riding the ride 20 times you start to figure things out, but I still like the ride, and love that it is a capacity Hog!

So there is a news post here and video saying they enabled the headlights and tail lights. Yet when I rode this Fri and Sat they never had them on

From what I understand the lights have to be enabled by the ride ops each night and many times they simply forget/don't care enough to do so. :-/

Same with the Apollo's Chariot Lift music, which I haven't heard once this year.:dodgy:
By the way the head lights were working when I went 2 weeks ago. I think I took pictures maybe I'll find them.

Apollo's lift music was playing the last few times I rode this year.
Yea that is what I was saying the lift music has to be enabled by the ride operator which sometimes they don't do.

EDIT: If you guys want to talk about this topic anymore move it to the Apollo's thread.
