On verbolten today a man on the middle of the orane train smashed his head and was bleeding all over and ran off the ride ad they had to shut down the ride and file paper work and clean up the car after 45 minutes they took the orange trian off the track and i got to ride after i got back to the sttation it seemed as if the ride was then having technical difficulties! not a good day for verbolten

How was his head "smashed" was it the fault of the ride or was it it rider error? Did he have a preexisting injury that could have aided the ease of him getting injured? Did it happen mid-ride, if so where during the ride? Did it occur in the station? Could the train be the primary cause of injury?

Those are my questions, and yes I am being serious about them.

I am just really curious to see how someone suffered such a severe injury on the ride when in the past year the most severe injury was a headache.

From what I have heard, this might have been the result of a phone or other loose article that was brought on the ride... I didn't see it happen, but I was nearby and talked to a few people as they got off... and yes, I did immediately think of Fabio

It all depends on how he smashed his head. Maybe the train came to a sudden stop and he smashed his head against the back of the row in front of him. Or, maybe he had his head leaned forward on one of the launches and the force of the launch slammed his head back against the head rest. I suspect that it happened coming out of the event building on the second launch.

If anyone is at the park today could you check whether or not the orange train has been pulled out of service?

Thanks, I would like to think this is probably what happened considering the fact if the ride caused the injury, there would have been more like this previously and the park would have already fixed the issue.

I bet that guy was wishing someone followed the Loose Article Policy.

orange train is definitely not running. Just watched 2 rounds of coasters and all 3 other colors are running. I'll see if I can get any info off the ride people
