Here is the one from Sheikra that I found online for comparison sake. It is the same company that did Boltie ( they are Orlando based so SWP&E didn't have to go far).

Despite less CG it is still amazingly cheesy ( with the bird and the slo mo).

There's night vision camera in the building. But those are for operators to see the trains. Maybe someone who took the tour can share a picture from the control booth.

Watching that makes me feel like I am watching a promo video or in queue line video explaining the story behind the ride. I really wish there was more on ride video, and less animation.

I can provide that.

The bad: Too much CG, not enough real footage
The some what good: I have not seen anything like this before, so props to BG for [at least] trying (even though it stinks) to do this (combine a short film and on-ride video)

I'll have to say, the park was better off just filming the people on the ride straight up. No CGI animations, just add a night vision function. I don't care if it takes them 2 years to develop it. That would be a better use of 30 dollars a video.

I feel bad for anyone who actually coughs up 30 bucks for this DVD.

When i first saw this, I thought it was some type of promo video, now that I know somebody is shelling out 34 bucks for this crap, I'm upset, the park will sell so few of these that they will be forced to make a new layout of how the video will be presented. Here's an idea Busch! have just the video with night vision in the event building with a variety of music to choose from in the background! maybe make it a 5-10 bucks cheaper and bing bang boom you have a hit that makes you a ton of money!

EDIT: Netdvn beat me to it, but I'm still going to keep it up

When i heard about onride video i didnt think there would be any cheesy animations in it, it would be awesome with just 100% on ride video, without music or anything so you can hear people scream on the drop track

If I recall that WAS the queue video. I was there in 2006 I think and if I remember correctly that was playing in the queue.

And I don't mind there being CG in the video, but I expect GOOD CG.

.... my classmates and I can do better, and we've only been working in 3D for a year and half. I have no idea what that was, but it was terrible.

And where exactly was the "On-ride footage"? I expected more, you know to hear and see the reactions, isn't that the point of the videos like this?
