Joe, stop being so negative about the park.

Right, right. I mean, if the seats fall off, at least you'll get to cool off in the Rhine River for a bit. #FunChallenge

The Set in the event building was done by the same man that designed the stage for London Rocks, Stan Meyer. Just like London Rocks, it was fabricated by Adirondack Scenic Co. The park has been working with them for many years now.

and barbizon did the lighting for bolt...

Getting back to the long line of posts about the vibration and roughness; my personal experiences I've only really had a problem with "headbanging" coming out of the turn over the Rhine, and the right turn up the terrain leading into the on-ride photo section.

Also, I'm considering putting out a few bucks for the backstage Bolt tour. Has anyone here done it and recommend it/think it is worth it? Thanks!

I am glad to hear that it is at least part of the roller coaster insider tour. The set, or should I say the scrims, look fantastic. Stan Mayer, the guy I mentioned earlier, is known for creating very whimsical designs. He also designed the set for Blue Horizons at SeaWorld.

How come BGW will pay a high price for thematic elements of a coaster, but when it's time to decorate the side of a major building in the park, they head straight for the dollar store? ;-P

Because they blew their load on thematic elements of a roller coaster?

Is this a riddle?

Though I'm not particularly fond of the exterior of the event building, is it really a big deal? I mean you really only get a glimps of it through the trees and a decent view in line for the dodgems. I bet their priority was to create a good "show" in the event building, but personally I don't mind the building, it blends, and much like BBW the foliage will grow in around it over the years. They maybe could have created a better facade when you enter it, but then again I don't imagine they had a ton of cash left over to completely decorate it...just my two cents

Some people suggested that the building should be painted black (The Black Forest), but wouldn't that make it more noticeable?

What foliage? There is nothing over by the Autobahn side of the event building but grass. People have brought this up before, but the foliage can't grow in if there isn't any foliage to begin with. It's like they're not even trying.
