You manifested this with your hatred of bolt
If I had dark powers, a satellite that could shoot stuff, or an evil robotic deer who could hijack the other robotic deer, I would have aimed it at the show building to completely total the ride, not the bridge to cause repairable damage.

It does not benefit me in any way to make the ride uglier but still functional.

On today’s episode of childhood fairy tales with Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Of course! I shouldn't build a robotic deer, I should build a giant mech wolf to blow down the Verbolten show building!

Loss of the roof is really just exceptional, immersive theming.
Having the roof shake and/or "fall" (not on the riders of course) while on the bridge would be a more than suitable replacement for Mach Tower's short-lived rumble at the top.

I always thought the metal and wood looked pretty awful together. Who knows, maybe with this, Vbolt will get a nice overhaul for it's 10th anniversary and we can see some old theming return and some new stuff in the bland spots.

Or.... they can take the good old classic Busch Gardens Williamsburg route and do absolutely nothing. Bridge roof collapsing = storytelling

The bridge roof was actually custom built by the same people that made the barn that once sat where Pantheon is now. I see about zero chance that the park will invest in a similar replacement.

The bridge is way to visible though for them to just leave it like this.
They have to do something.

I guess removing the steel structure completely might be an option.

I was gonna say steelworkers cost good money to safely rip that out, but with the price of wood through the figurative roof I'd guess the difference wouldn't be that far off.

This is what happens when we let all these kids in—they haven't read BGWFans construction updates from a decade ago. For shame! ?
It’s true! I had no idea about ParkFans a decade ago. Better late than never...
You never saw the construction pics? They built the ride before the building.
And nope. I did get to watch the construction nearly every day from the line of Der Autobahn, but I never saw a photo of the entire track.

(Sorry to double post but I’m just now reading the roof situation)

I want to hope that they’ll build the roof back ASAP, but given this doesn’t look planned, I have no idea. However, I will say that since at least part of the roof is still there, I’m guessing they’ll definitely build it back at some point by the summer. How likely is is that someone noticed termites?
