RE: Verbolten

Trevor, Just make sure you don't try to imitate William Tell anytime soon!

The bridge effects were working tonight.

RE: Verbolten

The effects were working on Sunday, too. It wasn't as crowded as I expected though. They were parking across the street but the lines were very short. I only had to wait two trains to get on Loch Ness. And the line for Verbolten was the usual.

RE: Verbolten

@Zachary I had seen the Low Quality version on YouTube and once on TV in a hotel room in Williamsburg, they did a very good job at producing it, I agree with you, it is totally cool!

RE: Verbolten

I rode Verbolten today for the first time since May and I couldn't help but notice how much the queue line and station have been vandalized and unkept. Everywhere I looked I saw peeling paint and Randy's and Susan's I love you forevers carved into the posts and walls. There was also an entire poster missing in the office.

RE: Verbolten

Sounds like the Batman clones issue has arisen again, except on Batman it was more acceptable since the queue was meant to look like utter crap.

RE: Verbolten

Either they took the handles off of the drawers or somone stole them, the drawers to the rightt of the desk in the quene building

RE: Verbolten

At about 8:45 on Sunday evening, everyone was crowding in for one last ride on Verbolten before the fireworks started. As I made my way through the outdoor area of the queue, the people behind me figured that looping through a garden was a bit strenuous and they should just cut right through the flower beds (cutting in front of me in the process). Once the people behind them saw them doing it, I saw at least another 8 to 10 people cut through the flowers so they could get to the back of the line faster. I dont see how people think that Busch Gardens can remain the world's most beautiful theme park as long as they trample the foliage.

RE: Verbolten

Agreed. It pisses me off to no end to see how badly people have vandalized the queue line. Unfortunately people have no respect for other people or their property anymore. This is why we can't have nice things!

RE: Verbolten

It is nothing new about this trampling through the foliage. People were doing that soft opening weekend nearly as soon as the rope dropped for Verbloated. If the park does now attempt to pinpoint those who do that then it will continue to happen. With all these 16-18yos working there they probably are a bit too intimidated to tell a cut 6'6 30yo man he cannot do that. The same goes for the graffiti; if it is not handled/covered up then it will tempt more people to conduct it the same. The sight of graffiti alone is an invitation to others to partake in it. Covering it up daily/bi-daily is crucial to prevent such actions from occurring.
