Its not funny anymore, its annoying and down
right immature. Especially when it is constantly
used. The same joke is only good maybe twice.

Sorry about that party rocker. The term was new to me. Moving forward I'll be sure to do more research before attempting to lighten the mood on this forum with a little humor. Maybe I could run future posts by you for approval...

I wasn't trying to be rude but the term bothers me greatly gets in my nerves. Sorry if my post was harsh.

Erm...this is the internet....if such a small molehill rains on your parade this hard, I'd turn back now.

Anyone think any of the downtime was just a precaution for next week? It'd be a huge buzzkill for Vbolt to be down on one of the busiest weeks.

Thanks partyrocker.

And Scotcher: Erm...Thanks for the lesson in what this is. I believe even on the internet people can treat each other with respect and civility, and be called out when they don't.

And no. they're not going to take their biggest attraction down unless safety requires it.

RE: Verbolten

So, how has the early ride time for passholders worked out? Have they been able to hold it most of the advertised days, or has the ride overall been down so much that the ERT hasn't been held?

Just looking for general impressions here, I'm sure no one has a day-by-day account of whether the ERT was held or not. Right now, I have the impression it probably hasn't been held much, but I hope I'm wrong and I'd like to go tomorrow myself if there's a good likelihood they will have the ERT.

Good.

In the mean time, at 6:45 pm on Friday evening, the red, orange, blue, and green trains are running. (The webcam makes the orange train appear yellow.)

The smooth jazz on the webcam is awful. The previous vocal music was also awful. The awful music wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't the same tune on repeat. I wish they'd play the Italian music from a few feet away in San Marco.

RE: Verbolten

The webcam is located on the San Marco 'event' bridge. It promotes up coming events and right now is promoting illuminihhts with its theme song and jazz version.

Yep..... They should instead "point the microphone" towards San Marco where we could here Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin while watching for Verbolten cars to go by.

RE: Verbolten

Break down update: currently broken down. Orange car is halfway out of the station, blue halfway into the station, green was at the slanged brake run behind the station (but was moved up one segment after 5 mins), red is nowhere to be found. As I type this though, they are resuming and red is back. 15 minute breakdown and they are now running without people. Ill post pics later.

Interesting note: the warning sound for the resuming of the ride is a car horn.

RE: Verbolten

That is interesting... No "clear the verbolten track for moving trains, clear the verbolten track area"?
