RE: Verbolten

I think that v-bolt might have about 70 to 80 seconds in the event building but the timing might be different because they might be slowing it down a little on the block brake just like the bridge.

Seems like there can be 2 trains in the event building. I bet its awfully loud inside of there.

I'd doubt it you'd hear the other train really...

RE: Verbolten

^Isn't there a block inside the building in addition to the drop? So it makes since that a train can be entering that brake while the previous train is leaving the drop track. And if there are sound effects, maybe they are timed to each train passing to prevent too much noise?

RE: Verbolten

I'm pretty sure they were not doing full speed tests today. It looked like it had just enough speed to get up to the bridge and they slowed the train down dramatically on the bridge. I have videos of testing to post very soon so be on the look out.

I don't know if anyone has noticed yet, but the camera spot is right after the airtime hill, before the final turn into the station. They were taking the photos today (to calibrate them of course) even though you really couldn't see it from up close during broad daylight.

RE: Verbolten

It did seem really slow on the bridge. And trains did seem to take forever to come out of the event building when seeing them go in and back out on the track next to the building

RE: Verbolten

I'm not quite sure if it was at full speed or not, but the brakes on the bridge did seem to slow it a little too much, unless that is what they were trying to do.

So do we know if testing is at full speed now?

If there are apparently only 12 hours of testing left, you better bet it's at full speed.

RE: Verbolten

^That's a little disappointing. There could have been great Ejector airtime on the Bridge into the drop if it just had a little more speed going into it.

I think that makes sense. Sorry if it doesn't quite fit grammar wise

RE: Verbolten

Maybe they have some audio story elements that play on the bridge that require it to go through at a slower speed... Just a thought.

RE: Verbolten

Or like you see that the bridge is broken and you slam on the brakes, but you still slide off the end of the bridge... like squealing tire sounds... also, employees are anxiously awaiting an announcement on when paid ride time is (like what they did with MT)

RE: Verbolten

There should be speakers up there since it is a brake run and you can get stuck up there so there has to be some type of way for the operator to speak to the guests in case of accident
