BTW, I fit in the testing seat with NO problem. Wasn't even that tight. Fat guys rejoice!

Same for me as well. The person manning the front gate mentioned they wanted to accommodate as many guests as they can (Read: Guys like myself who need to lay off the Twinkies and Cheetos! )

I'm telling you next weekend is the soft opening according to the girl in the operations booth at Verbolten

Assuming employees are riding next weekend, any scheduled soft opening wouldn't be until either the following weekend or the day after employee ride testing finishes (which could be any time really).

Things can change. Last I heard Zierer still has control of the ride and until they give the ride over to Busch, nobody will be riding.

IF the employees are riding next weekend, that may set the following weekend up for the soft opening, followed by Media Day on the 17th and official opening on the 18th. Fits pretty well, we'll see if it actually works out that way.

Busch Gardens officials are in control of the ride last time I checked... They had Busch Name Tags

^Just says you have to be 18 or over to enter the contest. Nothing stating that your guest can't be under 18.

Why would it be mandatory for emergency vehicles to be called if nobody is hurt?

FWIW, I had to call the police for an incident on my block on Saturday. The dispatcher specifically asked if I needed an ambulance. I said no, but they sent one anyway. :-/

If they're able to get it back to the station, they won't need to replace it. Hopefully the damage is only to the seats and fiberglass body. If so, they shouldn't have a problem getting it back in tip-top shape by opening.

Because this is the standard style train for this model of coaster. I highly doubt that they can mold the body, prep, paint, wire, mount, assemble chassis in under a month.

That is a huge stretch.

I meant more along the lines of replacing cosmetic parts like Swift was saying. Didn't really mean the part about getting a new one.

It does kind of stink that from now till May 18 Is pretty much going to be a waiting game since almost everything is in place for the coaster.

I'm going to guess there may be a little news to talk about between now and May 18th... :angel:
