Let's hope that's all it takes! I'm sure Busch built some time into their schedule for some set backs - with every coaster there is probably a little bit of failure in some parts (there are a lot of pieces that go into this type of thing). I think that if it is just a small fix (1-2 weeks), they will open on time.
I think I might go to the park today to see what is going on (if anything). I'll try to get info out of the people in front or construction workers that are coming out.

Darnit, I forgot that! Thanks! I'm guessing four weeks now, and that's a problem. If the support and track are damaged, I think we're definitely going to see a delayed opening, unfortunately.

^I truly hope it opens in May or the first week of June so it's open when I'm there, but more important than my selfish desire to ride this when I have one day at BGW for the next couple of years is the safety of the worker who was hurt. Thoughts go out to him and his family

^ Not sure. The park is trying really hard to keep people who know quiet. You probably won't get any answers.

@ RocketChk I posted my statement on here for a reason for the VIP event people who have never been to one will be the first to say "Oh its nothing" but people who have been to one know its very nice and like you said and honor to even be chosen to go. @ Everyoneelse- Anyway I'm done with this site why even start a Verbolten thread up if you don't care about anything about Verbolten or any events for Verbolten. I was going to tell information about the event and pictures but I know I don't need to waste my time with this site. It seems you have to be in a certain "clique" to be able to post on here without it being removed or edited. You might as well drop the thread now since everyone knows so much about Verbolten and was the creator. Let's see if this will be ignored :sleepy:

Unagi, your question is valid. Its the same one I asked earlier. You mean to tell me there is no policy for keeping objects (vehicles, etc) out of the umbrella of a train while testing is ongoing? That's amazing to me! Even if they weren't expecting the train to roll that direction, it seems safety would dictate to leave the necesary space JUST IN CASE.

If the truck was able to hit a support when it got hit. That describes how much space there actually was in there. The truck was RIGHT next or a couple of feet away from the support. With the building in such a heavy theming there is construction equipment laying around and pieces of theming and the actual ride its self. Something arre just not planned and somethings are planned to where you just have to hope for the best.

Not to mention the subsequent invistigation by OSHA, insurance companies, Sea World Parks and various attorneys. I'm thinking mid to late June at the earliest.

If they do have to replace track and supports then there will definitely be a delayed opening. However I don't think the delay would be too long. Remember, Zierer uses the same company as Intamin for track fabrication. Maverick was delayed only for two weeks while they were waiting on three track pieces to replace the heartline roll with an s-curve.
