RE: Verbolten

If that's the case, then your previous post contradicts itself.

From when you sit down in your seat to when you get out of it? Sure. 3min is fine.
Actual RIDE time from moving away from the station to FBR? 90sec.

For any of you children trying to contest this, the Griffon fact sheet said IT was 3min too and we all know that is simply not true from top of lift hill to FBR.

Also, calculating ride times from the top of the lift hill to the FBR produces inconsistent results.

Sorry to bring this up again, but I have numerous sources that say that employees are being told that the ride duration is 3:25... Just sayin... Do I believe the park is deliberately lying to its employees, no, but I still think they don't have a good idea of the ride time

So where's my 300ft launch coaster with rotating track and conveyor belt station that was promised to employees during last year's orientation? :p They lie to their employees just as much as they do to their fans.

Didn't you say before that engineering was too easy? Use math to calculate an approximate ride times. 3:25 ride time is almost as laughable as the Table Service thread.

you do have a good point, never heard about the orientation thing, but I did see that "20ft" post and thought someone needed to be educated better

RE: Verbolten

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but in one of the "final piece" videos, there was a very brief look into the event building and it showed what looked like a cutout of leaves right in front of the track so I'm gonna go with the theory of cutouts. The drop looks great by the way.

Swift, there is a difference between employee speculation/lies and what they teach in orientation. I have heard team members say they lie to guests purposely for amusement, which I think is not so great, but still there is that. Then you have employees that like to start rumors, be heard and get attention that speculate as bad as the GP. Then you have they say in orientation that almost nobody seems to remember after May. Honestly, it depends on which employee you get the info from and how honest they are, and how not crazy they are.

In response to your Twitter post, Verbolten is featuring many firsts that may or may not be actually thrilling to the ride. So far, the firsts could be sucky firsts nobody cares about and they are just trying to hype things up by making everything secret until opening day. It depends on their marketing strategy what the heck is going on. Obviously the park has some fools working for them sometimes, then they get struck with 1 great idea in awhile.

In response to the green train picture, that looks great! I am glad to see they have trains on the tracks with test dummies. I also spy Festa colors through the trees, I wonder which part of the track this is??? It is nice to some some new pictures of more interesting things to come out. EDIT: An up close look shows they are the new Oktoberfest tents and this is the building entrance. Also, It appears they took the airplane idea literally and just went with it.

In conclusion, I am excited for the HHT, I can't wait to see pictures and hear responses to questions. It will be a good catch up time. I also think besides the HHT we will start seeing the more info and such come to the open.

P.S. I believe the leaked plans showed that only the entrance of the event building will be themed, which is fine since when the trees are full of leaves it will blend right in.

P.S.S Swift, I see your :p and I think you may have been joking about incorrect info, but I am just clearing things up as to where that info may have come from, don't take this post personally :D

And here is you. "Atlantis"

RE: Verbolten

If you notice the station is just behind the trees and the new game tent, face paint tent are back there as well.
