RE: Verbolten

I think it's an antique Porsche. We own a Porsche and when I first saw the car in the videos, our Porsche was the first thing I thought of. I think the key indicator here is the perfectly round headlights. My dad goes to a lot of Porsche events and almost all of them have those headlights, and I've never seen a car (other than a beetle) that had them.

RE: Verbolten

I think that we can see the trains looking a lot like the car in the video. Just look at the videos and the banner on their website that has the car going off the cliff. They have to be using some type of design similar to it.

One thing is for sure, I think we can all agree the trains will have the headlights shown the teasers on the trains, or at least I think it most likely will.

I may be a bit behind but I heard there was going to be black lights used in the event building, would the head lights interfere with that effect?

RE: Verbolten

By the way, a friend of mine confirmed today that the park has at least one of the trains. He saw it in the parking lot and said that it is an all green train. Also, they are re-doing a lot of concrete walkways near Verbolten so he could not get close to see much track.

It's good to hear that the little birdie talks what we want them to talk about. Now, all we need is to train this little birdie to take some pics.

RE: Verbolten

I am not going disagree with you at all and understand your point. I just think that it would be benefit for the park do show construction pics

Pictures are dangerous- often much to dangerous to justify posting them.

How is taking pictures of trains sitting in public view dangerous? There's no law against doing that, and then posting the pic online is it? I can see if someone was in a location that was no trespassing or something.

Most likely the trains are not in public view. I doubt the park would just let them sit out for everyone to take a picture of. They are at least going to keep them in the employee parking lot, and if not, somewhere more secretive and safe.

Taking them isn't dangerous but giving them to us is. Information is relatively hard to trace if you do things right. Pictures on the other hand are much, much easier to trance back to the source. More often than not, the risk isn't worth the reward.

RE: Verbolten

Didn't see a post about this yet, but Busch Gardens completed Verbolten's track on the 17th. As you guys already know, the first of five trains have arrived on site and they are expecting the other four to arrive between now and the end of February (that's about one a week).

Wasn't sure if anyone already knew about this either, but Verbolten's trains will feature an on ride video system. Probably something similar to Rockit at Universal where you'll be able to purchase afterwards.

I'm working on rendering video with an interview with Giles and some clips of the track being placed, so look for that later. Until then, I posted pictures of the track being placed here.
